Sims 2 Screen Flickering/Glitch FIX

I recently stumbled across this fix that was causing Sims 2 graphics to Flicker when moving around in game. I had this problem and it was a real pain in the rear end to deal with. Here is the fix that I found:

"WHERE TO INSTALL FIXES:
In the Program folders:

\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Res\Config\
\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Res\CsConfig\
MUST BE INSTALLED IN BOTH FOLDERS

Graphic Rules - INTEL
Video Cards.sgr - INTEL - 0a16

Once you've installed those two cards, you will be able to push your smooth edges up to max, and the flickering will go.

Also make sure you are running the game as admin"

Has anyone else tried this yet? Sims 2 is definitely my favorite Sims game of all time! The screen flickering totally ruins it for me though..

Yes, people edit the config files so the game recognizes the newer cards we all have.

Yup pretty much everyone needs the graphics rules. It is available at Leefish. I would post a direct link, but on my phone. I can do it later tonight if no one beats me to it. You just follow the instructions there, and download the correct file for the card you have.
