How did you find out the temp of your CPU? I know there are various bits of software out there that do that...
I notice TS4 started to lag really bad, which is odd for TS4.
I restarted the game and was taken to my BIOS utility that showed me the high temperature.
I wouldn't have known otherwise.
Beautiful pics of Windenberg's newest park! Sorry to hear of your overheating problems...yes you were very lucky. I was having the same problem but found an inch layer of dust on the inside. I'll be looking for a new one soon, this is an oldie, 8 years now and starting to have problems freezing...phooey.
Good luck!
Yeah, I had thick dust covering the outside vent filters. I had no idea it was that thick.
The inside was fairly clean, other than a light amount of dust. It guess the pump on the radiator cooling system died. Either that or the liquid evaporated to too low a level to properly cool it. It is supposed to be a sealed system though.
I go into the BIOS again to set my case fans to go crazy fast if the CPU ever gets that hot again.
At least I will get some warning right away.

Finally!
All my sims are in the game.
This is getting a bit exciting folks. All my sims with new experiences ahead of them, and new seasons and celebrations.
And who knows what new packs... I think I am set up for some epic simming.
Plus I will be getting back to old game features that I haven't been using at all. I think I will make a mind map just to remind myself what they are.
New sims, little Kara Monteroy...
...and her her parents Tory and Dustan are living in Windenburg.
Tory is going into politics on the Charity Organizer track and Dustan will be a detective.
I hope we get some kind of Superstar pack before Kara leaves Uni. I want her to be a supermodel, or actress, or something glamorous and famous.
It still feels odd playing starter homes after playing the Peregrine house so much.
Sheldon Dortz and his parents, William and Butterfly, are living in Brindleton Bay.
TS4 Sims are so affectionate:
William is going to be a scientist and I think Butterfly will be a botanist.
I need to start building new starter homes.
I am copying houses from other neighborhoods.
I have some starter homes in Newcrest.
But they were meant for singles. The other homes were meant for families that had climbed a little bit up the economic ladder.
This house was a copy of the one next door until I added on to make a nice master bedroom upstairs.
This is little Monique Brown and her mother, Leah.
That's her father, Darrel.
And here's Ling's mom, out for a stroll.
The Browns have a lot of work ahead of them.
I had to Kaching them a couple of grand just to buy an empty house.
It didn't even have lights.
Well, she's a hardcore politician and he's an athlete--they will wing it.
And last, but not least, one of my favorite sims, Riya Ramaswami.
When I first create Riya, she was supposed to be a descendant of Priya and Sanjay Ramaswami.
But that's all changed now-- Priya and Sanjay are her parents.
They do look different from their TS2 selves since they are genetically based on Riya.
I don't care.
I'm running with it.
Sanjay had musical aspirations in TS2, but I am making him a tech guru in TS4. Perhaps I will give him a music hobby.
Priya was a journalist, so she will be pursuing the same here.
Priya's hobby will be painting, something that Riya will pick up.
All this messing about in New Crest had me reconsidering all those flat roofs.
They are begging for skylights.
It doesn't matter how they look on the outside.
I mainly want to bring natural light to specific areas of the house:
Hallways, bathrooms, relaxing nooks, and perhaps a few bedrooms.
So much simming ahead of me.
Oh, and happy 4th of July!
Yay! I knew you'd be back full steam, it was just a matter of time.
Love your little families, and how you brought back S3 favorites. I tried doing that but couldn't get that same vibe. I too will be looking forward to updates.
I also want that starter...those skylights are awesome.
In my house, dog hair sticks to everything but the dog.

I still have to bring over some community lots and few other homes from the over save, but I discovered this in one of the home's basement.
Monique was living here with some other roommates.
She was in photography and would take pictures whenever my other sims would visit.
I hope we have some great packs by the time my sims are YAs again.
I haven't uploaded my Art Deco influenced homes yet.
I have to strip them of CC. I will probably upload three types.
Lost in The Sims 4.
I am busy playing all the other households besides the Peregrine house.
This is marathon simming. I am advancing all these toddlers to the child stage as well as advancing their parents careers and decorating their homes.
Nothing exciting, just good ol' simming.

Yes, this thread is back for an update.
Seasons has been a serious, SERIOUS, blow to my NEPS.
I have been playing hours upon hours of TS4 since getting Seasons.
I have also been using more features of the game, instead of avoiding and saving the experience.
I really do believe that University will be the full death of my NEPS.
All the rest of my sims are now in the game and there is nothing to stop my game play until the first children are ready for University.
Your days are numbered NEPS.
University, witches, farming, and something completely new, and I may just be a very satisfied simmer.
[ahem... plus traits and whims tweaks, still missing NPCS...]
It sounds like you may be enjoying seasons. Your stories sold me on most of the packs I bought in Sims3. I always figured they should have given you a commission on your sales. Perhaps you can convince me to buy this latest pack.
Yay, so glad you are enjoying Seasons so much! I've got my fingers crossed for a witch gp...that will just about do it for me. Although the modders do an extraordinary job with game play, they can only do so much.
As always, I love the pics!

I feel pretty good about it despite just making it to Autumn.
I haven't seen winter yet. I was not pleased with the minimal depth snow and a few other missing features that you usually find in Seasons.
So I'm not sure how I will feel about winter. I have tuned off temperature effects because simmers were saying NPC sims were freezing to death if they went jogging in winter and certain interactions happened. I have too many sims in rotation to risk that, so I turned those effects off.

A witch GP would be perfect for October.
I hope they have that planned.
They say you can make a fortune in Selvadorada if you are fit, smart, and brave enough to go after it.
Well, that's what a co-worker of Roger Banks had said.
So he dragged Ann off to seek this fortune. Olivia, their daughter, was safe and sound back in Brindleton Bay.
They arrived late in the day, so they decided to hit the local cantina to absorb Selvadoradian culture.
They learned enough for a first start.
Ann prefers long skirts and dresses out in public, and even about the house, so it was rare for Roger to see her in shorts.
He could get used to this.
A fight?
That's rare. Was it brawl night?
Well, not a bad adventure before the adventure.
They went home to get some rest for the next day.
After a bit of play:
In the morning, there was smoke, after the fire of last night.
And yet more fire.
Have we always had sprinklers?
It took a long time to go off.
They started their archeological adventure close to their rental house.
Baby steps.
Their next stop was the grounds of the Selvadorada cultural museum.
They split up to increase their pace.
Closer to the edge of the jungle they found more excavation sites.
Ann was in a foul mood because she made the mistake of eating some meat.
She's a vegetarian, and not pleasant to be around once she's had some bacon.
Now the real adventure begins.
Ann was a natural with the machete.
Actually, it was a bit scary.
Roger thought it might be prudent to hide the knives if he ever did anything to make her really angry.
Crossing these gateways were an adventure in themselves, and it showed just how amateurish they were.
They were not prepared for this and had to make safe choices.
Now they were getting into it.

There was only so much Ann could take. Being soaked to the bone with all manner of snakes coming above ground or wherever they come from, might be too much to handle.
They got an early start for their final day.
They didn't bother to examine in much depth what they found. They could do that at home.
"Time to move on, babe."
Ann had lost her machete in a very scary encounter with a leopard... panther...?
Whatever it was, it was a big cat. Roger had taken over chopping while she sang to calm her nerves.
He could also tell that she was missing Olivia. Clearly, that cat encounter had created extra concerns.

In my house, dog hair sticks to everything but the dog.
Her parents wanted to buy her the entire jungle gym, but could only afford the ball pit.
A family reunited,
I am sure Ann missed her daughter something terrible.
Awww...
Now down to business.
They didn't bother to find the value of the things they collected while in Selvadorada.
They focused acquiring it. Valuing it could be done at home.
Ann caught up on her digital paperwork.
After all that effort, they only manage to have 5,700 simoleons in their bank account.
Buying Olivia a jungle gym will bankrupt them as soon as the bills started coming in.
At least they could afford a night on the town to celebrate what little they brought back.
Ann has the soulmate aspiration, so they are out on a date.
A table near the window will be great so they can soak in all that civilization while they relax, chat, and enjoy diner.
“Roger, I was thinking about that house.
It’s very out of place in Brindleton Bay with that ultra modern style and almost orange wood siding, but I love it despite that.
I bet it could be made to fit in with some thoughtful redesign."
“Well, you are right about it being out of place. That’s probably why they can’t sell it.
People move to Brindleton Bay for it’s Brindleton Bayness.”
“Well that’s good for me, if we can raise the money quick enough."
"But… Who are we kidding? We can’t raise that kind of money fast enough.
We will probably have to find another house, or have one designed and built for us.”
“Don't be so quick to give up. I don’t even think we have remotely tapped what we can possibly discover in Selvadorada.”
"As a matter of fact, I think we should be planning ahead for our next trip!"
"Ah. Our waitress is coming, Roger."
"Get what you want. Don't worry about the cost."
"After surviving that jungle, I don't care about the cost. I am going to enjoy this."
"Mmm... that is one good looking man she has there."
"Yeah, tasty."
"Very tasty!"
"Ha ha ha!"
"Dinner is served, babe."
"Ooh!"
"This is delightful. Hopefully it is just as delectable."
“You know… I only went along with this Selvadorada adventure because I didn’t want you having to split any treasure with that coworker buddy of yours. Besides, two guys in Selvadorada could probably get into all sorts of trouble.”
“Ha! Pat isn’t a guy. Pat is short for Patricia, and she’s pretty level headed.”
“You wouldn’t have to worry about us getting into trouble.”
"Riiight."
“Rest assured, now that I know about Patricia, I will be your partner in all future adventures.”
"Putting this Patricia person and adventures aside, I think we need a backup plan.
It may be long term, but I have been researching a specialty clothing boutique. I think we should start our own business.”
“OK, that’s a possibility if this doesn’t pan out, Ann. You should show me your research.”
"Dessert?"
"Not right now. We will decide after we've finished the main course."
"I say we give Selvadorada one more serious try. We've gained a lot of experience on our first trip."
"Ugh... this is delicious, but I think I overlooked something in the menu description. I suspect it has meat in it. I'm done with it.
I'm not feeling up to dessert either."
"Ok, then we are done here."
"Alright, one more adventure in Selvadorada, but if we fail, we do it my way.
"Failure isn't an option."
"You are in my hands and I will carry you to your most cherished desire."
"Bob used to kiss me like that.
Where did the magic go?"
"Well, since you have expressed it that way, when do we depart?"
They finished off the night with a performance, pretending they were much better at it than what was obviously evident.
"Mr. Basu, do you happen to have some ear plugs I could use? This woman is assaulting my ears."
"Hah! If I had ear plugs, I would be wearing them."
The human voice as a deadly weapon, Ann is a dangerous person.
"Somebody kill me now!"
"How do you want it done, Eliza? Santoku knife, or kitchen axe?"
"Use the axe. It'll be quicker."
Time is passing so quickly for the Banks.
It's Olivia's birthday celebration.
Roger authenticates the last remaining artifact.
"Hey, leave that thing alone. It's time."
"I think it's time to ask my boss for a raise. Things are about get more expensive around here."
Is that makeup on her?
Yes it is.
I think I will roll with it, because I can see Ann letting her try a little eye liner to bring out her eyes.
I just won't use what the game put on her.
Olivia is a budding artist and critic.
She's opinionated on the mysteriously magical family portrait.
Dad looks isolated, but other than that, she likes it.
I realized just how much a Sims geek I am when I got all excited over Olivia meeting Melonie on her first day at school.
These two were like my dynamic duo back when they were young adults in another save.
So now their friendships gets a much earlier start.
Oh, when I get Uni, they have to be roommates.
I have other synchronicites in my game.
The game gave Ling this hair when she aged up from a toddler.
As a young adult, I could never find any hair that looked right on Ling besides one short alpha hair style.
It was so perfect that the game gave her this hair.
Also, the game putting a little makeup on Olivia.
I have a lot of sims to play, I hope there are more things I can roll with.
Awesome update and of course, pictures. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a university/college type pack to come out soon too. I really loved Uni in Sims 2 and 3.
In my house, dog hair sticks to everything but the dog.
Simmer, leo2487, reported that Candy and Yuki Behr won the lottery in his/her game.
I was intrigued by this and decided that that event should also be paralleled in my game.
I have always like Candy and Yuki, but have yet to play them.
I have decided that these two would spend that money on a house design they have seen in New Crest.
They have had one built in Windenburg.
(They paid off the leader of the community heritage group and a couple of local politicians. )
Pleased?
Their original home was a waste of space, as that long front yard wasn't useful for much of anything besides a garden.
I did have some extra work to do because the 2nd level was not finished.
I kept the spirit of their original bedrooms because they represented much of their personality and ambitions.
Candy and Yuki are now in my rotation of played sims.
Thanks so much CK! I have never paid that much attention to the Behr sisters either, but always liked Candy, seeing her at the clubs all the time. I think they are worth looking into and since I have done a re-eval of my number of sims I was playing, there may be room for these charming ladies.
In my house, dog hair sticks to everything but the dog.

@bshag4lv
The house is now uploaded.
I've only uploaded the Medium version for now.
