      People saying that drug problems here are caused by people of other ethnicities who moved here. Drug problems weren't brought here by people who make up such a small fraction of the total population but all they have to do is look at the arrests made for drug trafficking. Most of them are local, and white. But it's so much easier to blame someone, anyone, else, than it is to realize that serious drug problems go hand in hand with extremes of social inequality in other places that attract a lot of outside money from tourism, but have a desperate underside of local people who barely make it. Like Miami and Oahu, different only in scale.

      And you didn't read it wrong at all. However I will say that I'm not numb to it, I just don't take people seriously with that mentality anymore. I know what it's about with them and what they want out of it, or if they happen to say something.

      It's just echoes in the wind now.
