    1. I don’t know what they did to the clothing, especially male clothing in the game post patches, but the fit especially trousers for men is really bad. For instance most of the trousers are too tight in the crotch area and not long enough. I played the game pre any patch i.e. installed from the discs I pre-ordered in 2014, and these items of clothing, fit perfectly. There also seem to be additional clothing that had been removed. Also there was no standing on the pavement for 1 hour after returning to the lot from work

    2. Sims seem unaware of their surroundings, for instance, I moved a Sim to an empty lot and beside the lot was the public toilet and a number of grills, there were also other Sims are milling around grilling, socialising etc., but the Sims even though their needs are low will not autonomously interact with the Sims, use the public toilet, grill (or even eat the food already grilled), instead they keep returning to the home lot every time. The only time they perform these actions autonomously, is when their needs are not in the red or when directed . Sims also don’t seem able to ‘see’ that an item is in use, I have had 2 Sims use the toilet at the same time a ‘ghost’ Sim and a ‘normal’ Sim. PS: why do ghosts need to use the toilet or have needs at all?!!

    3. When a cooker is not usable due to fire, why do Sims keep trying to make ‘grilled cheese’ and end up piling the floor with uncooked food and almost starving to death?

    4. Sims passing out, standing, peeing on top of food

    5. When Sims age at work/ school, they cannot resume work as there is no option to send them back

    6. How come elder Sims, not in your household are out jogging around several times a day, but your own Sims get exhausted after one jog ?, also annoying is the 'walkbys' by Sims supposed to be at work/school

    7. Why is cleaning so slow, pick an item pause, pick another item pause?

    8. I also hate the slouchy posture especially noticeable in the men.

    9. When merging a male sim from a different household to join a female sim household or vice versa and set them as a couple, they do not appear on each other’s relationship panel, although they are listed as husband and wife in the family tree. I don’t know if that’s intended, but it’s like they are roommates, as they have to be introduced to each other and all the romantic interactions like ‘first kiss’ etc. has to be performed, before they can ‘try for baby’ . So basically they have no relationship score. Also if you forget to set the relationship as hubby and wife in CAS, the game will not allow you to change it you get ‘cannot edit pre-existing’ relationship so have to delete that Sim

    10. When you age down a Sim in CAS they immediately age back up when you leave CAS

    11. Unrelated sims created in CAS, are automatically tagged as related , you cannot create 2 separate families as ‘the game’ will make them step parents to the other Sims’ children even though they are two different set of couples with their own kids

    12. I like that when both Sim parent die, the kids are put in other Sims household, however I find that sometimes ‘the game’ makes them siblings to the other Sim’s kids, and you cannot change it in CAS.

    13. Sims are only sad when their socials are low, not when they are broke? I played a Sim whose household fund was $1, but it was only sad at the low social!

    14. In addition to the 'daycare and nanny' options, a sim going to work, should also have the 'stay home' option

I agree re: traits and emotions and whims, and with everyone who mentioned how excessively long it takes Sims to complete simple tasks like showering and eating.

A couple related things also annoy me:
    1) There's no skills journal like in TS3 so we're missing lists of every book/song/painting/meal we've created and their corresponding qualities/genres.
    2) When your Sim publishes a book it just doesn't exist anymore, beyond making a copy before publishing it and then receiving royalties for a while. Sims should be able to actually purchase created books and the Sim who wrote it should have it recorded in the aforementioned skills journal we should have.

seeing the same Sims around all the time. it doesn't matter what time of day/night i take a Sim out (anywhere; pub, gym, museum...) the same ones, usually game-generated townies, show up. travelling to a new lot makes them show up there as well. i'd like to find Sims from households i created around town at least once.

i keep remembering more. i wish "dance with" meant "dance somewhere near each other" and not "dance across the room from".

also, hugging another Sim means acquiring the charisma skill. whyy.

The thing that really bugs me the most is the wacked out personality traits. When they are creative but also a geek they sometimes cancel the writing or the painting to play the freaking game rig or pc game.

    Other things that annoy me:

    1. Putting food in the inventory after cooking

2.That it takes one sim hour before 'teleport' responds to command

    3.That sims abandon cooking midway

4.The grill is bugged as sometimes, sims who abandon grilling halfway cannot continue to grill even when directed as the action keeps cancelling out

    1. Forgot to mention that unlike in sims 3, where it was easier to tell who was married to whom and who is related etc., in sims 4, not only does the posture in manage households not let you know which sims are married to each other, and who is a teen (sometimes), the only way you know sims are related is after you have merged them in CAS only to discover you cannot create husband and wife relationship either, because they are cousins or find that 'you cannot edit pre existing relationship' and later find that particular sim is already married, or that sim cannot get married because it's a teen!

    2. Also there should be age appropriate clothing on aging up, it's annoying to see elders in the crop tops they wore as young adults, which looks very weird with the 'elder posture' they have.

So, maybe some of you you know me as one of the sims 4 players that try to defend TS4 against as much critism as possible, but there are some things that too annoy me that I want to share with you, hoping that the devs could see it and do something about these points, because they're already known issues many players have with the game. I will only list issues that are possible to be changed and/or fixed, because it wouldn't make much sence if I would rant about loading screens everytime you want to go to another lot, because it is something I'm pretty sure can't be changed at this state :)
So here are the things that still annoy me about the game:
Simulation Lag: It's so annoying when I want to go back to speed 1 after I had speed 3 activated, only to wait because it doesn't want to switch over immediately (It's called "simulation lag", isn't it? I'm not sure) I hope you know what I mean, or when I cancel autonomous actions only to wait until it is really cancelled. Best example: My sim wants to talk to someone on the other side of the lot. I cancel the action before my sim actually walks to them, but they still run to the sim they wanted to talk to. The action isn't in the queue anymore, but the sim still runs to the other. God, it's so annoying!
Bugs that still aren't fixed: What's so difficult to finally fix the massive problems with the GTW careers. The detective career isn't playable for many players, the same goes for the doctor career. There are still sims that reset as soon as I want them to talk to others while they are sitting on these park benches. I have a bad guess that some of these bugs never get fixed like many issues with TS3 like the world Isla Paradiso with its routing issues, or the firefighter career that was unplayable for me until the very end. Don't do the same mistakes, developers, don't patch new features in all the time, fix rather the bugs than bring more to the game. I think everyone thinks the same.
The text message feature is a mess: I think every player had atleast once the problem that kids get invited to nightclubs or they are invited to a date by much older sims, or that sims are asked to celebrate their promotion even though they don't even have a job. Or that adults are asked by kids or teens to skip school. I mean, seriously? Don't get me wrong, I personally like this feature very much, but due to the fact that there are issues like I described it seems so random and not really thought-out. Another thing that bugs me is the frequency of these invitations. I would like a fix where npcs don't call sims while they sleep or are at work or school (exception would be the skip-school message). I like some of these invitations very much and would like my sims to accept it, but these invitations always come in the most inappropriate times that I always need to decline them because my sims need to sleep, eat etc.
The emotional buffs and traits: I never really was a fan of the emotion system, I personally find it unnessary, but now we have it in the game and I need to live with it. But what I hate, hate, hate about it is the fact that traits we give our sims simply don't matter anymore, because the emotions overwrite everything. For example, we have a sim that is a bookworm, and we have an active sim. When they are in a fine mood, they will have whims that correspond with their traits, the bookworm will have a whim to read a book, while they acitve sim may want to do exercise. Now, when these two sims go in a decorated room, they will get the "nicely decorated" moodlet, which will give them a happy +1 moodlet. Both will get happy. Both will have a whim to hug someone or something like that. They will both want to become social, even though one of them may have the loner trait. It bugs me some much and I notice the lack of actual meaning behind the traits when I play TS3. I don't want to compare these two games all the time, but traits in TS3 actually mean something, while in TS4, they are overwritten by the emotion the sim has at the moment. My request: atleast remove the +happy moodlet for nicely decorated rooms, it so unnecassary. And please tweak the emotional buffs and let them actually mean something. When a family member of my sim died right in front of them, they shouldn't become happy because their room has pretty decoration, even though it's just a change for the mourning moodlet, change it to a +10 sad moodlet that can't normally be overwritten by any other emotion.
Facial expressions: I saw a whole thread about the "happy" expressions of the sims in this forum sections, and it's something I agree with 100%. The smiles of the sims are too much that it just looks fake and creepy. No one that is happy is smiling like that. I currently use a mod that overwrites this expression and it looks much more natural, but it would be nice if it would be fixed by the devs themselves.

Soo, that was everything that annoys me about this game currently, write down what you think about it, if you agree or not, and what you would also like to be improved that wasn't in my list. Just rant here about things that annoy you ;)

I feel that you feel sad that you need to complain about things in the game. I understand that I use to feel bad about that too.
A lot of times I have tried to say things I felt needed fixing it just do not work for everyone.
So I only can use other peoples threads.
But really if you say what needs to be fixed, it's better so everyone enjoys the game.

A word about Loners, Loners enjoy being alone, it does not mean they are crazy. a Loner can love their family as much as anyone.Lots of people hang around family members they do not get along with. Just that when they are alone they are happy. but most do not wish to be alone all the time. Mostly they like family, a sister that's a loner would still want to be near her sister, just not all the time.
One thing the game gets wrong about Loners is when they say "stranger danger". Loners are not afraid of people, and they will talk to them. They just need a lot of alone time. Loners are mostly people that prefer to be alone doing things they like, could be gaming, fishing reading or even watching a movie.

My mother is a social butterfly she loves people and wants to be around family and friends all the time.
      her kids
2 of us our social butterfly's, even social butterflies needs time alone.
2 Loners. Some loners are also outgoing lol a lot of the time.
      Again my short list
Teen phases I want some of their phases to be funny ones, not all sad, or bad.

A highchair Fix, If someone puts the baby in the highchair no one can take the baby out until it eats. and maybe a toddler can get out of the highchair, really Highchairs are for younger babies. so maybe they just need booster seats. Or a chair that short with a little table a toddler can move and get up form for eating. but they eat in their chairs just fine.

The new block toy table that's only for toddlers, well only kids can use it I think also adults can, but not toddlers.

Stop destroying dollhouse in public parks and in homes. No reason for that and it's depressing to kids and toddlers. they should just destroy trash.

allow kids and teens to go to school in 10 to 15-minute intervals to stop lag

It's not funny when you have employees that do not work and goof off all day.

If we have a small business and we wish to run it yourself without employees, the game hires you 3 everytime and you have to pay them. if you fire one they will replace them.

Stop parental obsession with dollhouses and clay. if they need fun they can use computer or tv, dance whatever. (not sure about clay I do not allow it in my sims homes anymore.)

If a household has the money to pay their rent in their household account they should not turn off their power but take the money automatically like an auto pay. they use it in restaurants.

We need to be able to get toddler food and drinks from the toddler's cooler
We also need to be able to get toddlers food and drinks from the fridge without having the highchair on the lot.

Thank you. I do think the EA/Maxis Teams are working hard, and they are happy for this feedback :)
we'll give you a full refund. Just make sure you make your request within 24 hours after you first launch the game, within seven days from your date of purchase, or within seven days from the game's release date if you pre-ordered, whichever comes first.

      What still annoys me:

The lack of an ignore button on chance cards.
I seriously can't get over how they brought back chance cards and left off one of the most crucial parts of them, the IGNORE BUTTON. I've never personally been a fan of chance cards. I'm just not a risk-taking kind of person. Back in the days of TS2, I would click the ignore button just about every time a chance card popped up. That button really was a lifesaver! Why on Earth did they decide to remove it? They're forcing us to make choices on chance cards, knowing very well that often, BOTH options have a good chance of being the wrong option. This is why I prefer active careers and careers where your Sim can work from home. No chance cards can pop up during an active work day or while they're working from home. Please bring back the ignore button! Absolutely nothing of value would be lost by bringing it back!

How picky Foodies are with drinks.
I was shocked when I found out that this was by design. If a Foodie has ANY drink that isn't made by a Sim with a mixology skill of 5 and above, they get this annoying "disappointing drink" moodlet. Yes, this means that this can happen even if the drink is EXCELLENT quality. It also means that they'll always get this from quick drinks like water, orange juice, and milk, even though they often grab those drinks AUTONOMOUSLY. Look, I like eating good food too, but I still LOVE orange juice! What is your damage? I've been largely avoiding the Foodie trait as of late because of this "feature." It could be removed and people would totally rejoice!

      The broken townie generator.
Ever since installing Vampires and City Living, the townie generator has been absolutely OBSESSED with content from them. Just about every single townie wears outfits from these packs and has City Living names. This often leads to many townies with the same outfits and names! The townie generator also has a tendency to spawn genetically impossible families. One time a family spawned with parents that both had red hair, while one child had brown hair, and the other had blonde hair.

Really old issues that STILL haven't been fixed.
I'm going to add onto this with my own example. I love aliens, but for me, playing as them is unbearable because of this one issue that has been in the game since GTW came out in 2015. Yeah, it's been TWO YEARS and there still isn't any word on if it'll ever be fixed. I would prefer not to have to play them in disguise, but because of this issue, I pretty much have to. Basically, even if an alien isn't wearing a disguise, they'll still get discovered, which causes the poor alien to get embarrassed and the other Sim to get angry at them. The alien isn't doing anything wrong! And this shouldn't even be happening if the alien is OBVIOUSLY an alien!

Just as an FYI you can put those items in your families inventory before you move. The game also gives the option to keep your furnishings when you move. Hope this helps. :)

      Here's my own:

Action lag. I've recently started experiencing this. It's annoying how when you tell your Sim to do or to stop doing something, it takes them a little while to actually obey.

The male standing animation. They slouch so much, it's ridiculous.

Aliens. I don't like how when an Alien isn't in disguise nor cares to be, Sims will be surprised to find out the Alien is indeed an Alien. Especially when they've been living with said Alien! I don't want my Aliens to be embarrassed at being discovered. Why should they care?

The townie generator. There's a lot of townies in my game with the same name, using the same DLC content, and using the same CC. It's especially annoying when you find feminine CC and content on male Sims and vice versa on female Sims. This never happened in the Sims 3.

Too many things in this game lock you out of leaving, opening CAS, or saving. When a Vampire breaks in? Nope. Locked. How about when there's a fire? Want to save in case your Sim gets caught in it? Nope. Can't do it. Oh, look at that. A random Sim is aging up. You're locked there too.

The game has far too much control over what you can do. For example, there are Aliens running around in my game using Skin Details on them. Scars, skins, overlays, etc. But for some reason, the game locks me out of choosing Skin Details for the Aliens I'm creating. I don't understand this. Skin Details clearly work on Aliens. Why am I locked out?

The emotions of the game are too easy to change. My Sim was married to a beautiful woman and when she died, he was sad for less than a Sim day. As soon as he was comforted by his other wife, he was fine. In the Sims 3, simply breaking up with a Sim would make the Sim completely heartbroken for at least 2 days!

That's all I can think of for now.

@fewlines, thanks, I will check out the link and yes it is possible to edit relationships using cas.fulleditmode but in the game itself, after you add a new sim to a household ,even though they are set as husband and wife in cas, the couples are still strangers.

It also annoys me that elders, become exhausted after one jog and even 'die of exertion', inspite of the fact that as YA and adult sims they had maxed the athletic skill!.
