Toddler has red eyes

Not sure if it's a bug or the latest game update, but I recently created a couple of sims - she has purple eyes and white hair and he has cyan blue eyes and hair. Their baby came out with red eyes and red hair! I've never had this happen before with TS4 since it's always either A or B.
Note that I don't have the Vampire EP and this is the first time I see this eye color pop up in my game.

The mods and cc may have perhaps caused it to occur this time. If your sims decide to have another child, try removing the mods folder beforehand , and see if the same thing occurs.

If your sims have unnatural hair colours when having a child, the game randomly chooses a natural hair colour for the child. Now for the purple eyes, it's been this way for awhile, but the child doesn't get the purple eyes. It's either red or some other shade, because it hasn't been fixed.
