Hi, there! I'm fairly new to the Sims Forum, but I've been playing Sims since Sims 1 came out, and I've been building in Sims 4 for about a year.

I currently have 140 shared items on the Gallery. I started out by designing "Club Rooms" for lots of different types of possible clubs, after "Get Together" came out. Rooms are my favorite thing to design, though I occasionally also create lots and households. I've never received a Maxis fave, but it's one of my fondest hopes.

I'll add posts below, showcasing my designs. Thanks for looking, and I welcome any and all comments!

(Note: A lot of my earlier designs aren't play-tested; eventually, I'm hoping to go back and try them all out, then delete any that don't work and reupload them after I've fixed any problems.)

Hello It is very great that you have started a thread to showcase your creatiions!
Your club themed set of rooms is very great! The way that you have furnished the rooms to suit the different clubs and the activities that they would do is so very creative, and done so well! It was very nice reading your accompanying description of each room on imgur. Each of the rooms are great places for the clubs to gather.
I will look forward to seeing the other creations that you also showcase in your thread Happy simming,and building!

Bathrooms! Honestly, these are some of my favorite rooms. I don't know why bathrooms are so much fun to create...but for some reason, they are!

Themed Bedrooms: I'm not a great builder, and I know that (though I'm getting better). I think that my strength really lies in the creativity side of things, picking an idea and going with it.

1. Zen Garden Bedroom: For those times when you just wish you could go to sleep on someone's desk.



2. Teenage Vampire Bedroom. Also appropriate for aspiring teenage vampires.



3. Underwater Bedroom: For when you're really missing your old life as a mermaid.



4. Desert Bedroom: Just make sure you keep a glass of water by the bed.



5. Maid's Room. If she gets out of line, you can always take away her door.



6. Red Polka Dot Bedroom. (Here's a fun fact about me: I simply cannot type the words "polka dot" the first time I try. I always accidentally type "polka dog.")



7. Springtime Bedroom. The only downside is figuring out where you're going to sleep the other three seasons.



8. Yellow Striped Bedroom



9. Blue Polka Dot Bedroom. (Yep, I did it again. Polka Dog.)



10. Royal Visit Bedroom, created for One Week, One Room, One Theme



11. Citrus Bedroom. 🐸🐸🐸🐸 that one slice of apple in the painting!



12. Touch of Green Bedroom. Gray and green, uneasy allies in the war against boring decorating.



13. Cupboard Under the Stairs. My take on Harry's room at the Dursleys'.



14. Teen Alien Bedroom. Why "alien"? I don't know. I just put a bunch of space stuff in it.



15. 1980s Teen Dream Bedroom. Can confirm: was a teenage girl in the 80s and would've killed for this room.



16. Opposites Attract Dorm Room. Did they even look at the roommate questionnaire?

Kitchens! As I'm looking at them now, I don't think a single one of them has enough clutter to be an actual family's kitchen.

1. Bold Yellow Kitchen. Not for your more timid Sims.



2. Sunny Kitchen. Of course, they're all sunny kitchens until Sims 4 gets weather.



3. Modern Kitchen. (Really phoning it in with the names here.)



4. Vibrant Modern Kitchen. Where else are you going to put your gigantic rainbow chalk vegetable wheel?

6. Kicky Modern Kitchen. Why "kicky"? Shut up. Names are hard.

The world needs more polka dogs.

I think I've got your Roman Ruins bathroom faved. I really like the mood you have going there.

Of the kitchens, I'd say the Kicky Modern one is my favourite: it's so cozy!

With regard to the clutter question: some people like it, and some people don't. I've occasionally used it as a way of guiding my sims away from surfaces I don't want them using. For instance, you know how, with a corner island counter, you can have sims sitting/eating on two sides, and a sim can work on the other two sides? Well, a sim can't sit and eat on one side if there's another sim working on an adjacent side. So, to fix that, I put a bit of clutter at one corner of the counter, positioned so sims can sit and eat, but can't work on the counter.

How great that you have set up your own showcase! It looks wonderful!

You have a lot of wonderful rooms, and if I am going to try and pick out some favorites I'd say Bold Yellow Kitchen because it has a really great floor plan and I just love the bright yellow, and Fish Bowl Bathroom for just being awesome. I'd never thought of using the fountains like that!

I also agree with Xinqun on the clutter, it's more a preference thing, so I wouldn't worry about it I've actually been practicing a lot to add clutter, because it's in my nature to keep things clean. I've learned a lot from watching the different entries in the One room, one week, one theme challenge. Corwim in particular adds a lot of clutter, so I've been trying to watch, learn and try it out for myself

I think I'm always looking for that perfect amount of clutter, enough for a room to look "lived in," but not enough for it to look messy. In my real life, I have two kids and *plenty* of clutter, so I do enjoy creating clean, sleek rooms, if only in my Sims life...

Each of your rooms look so very nice! It looks great the way you have posted the rooms in themed posts on this thread. The way you have used colours in the rooms looks very effective. The design and furnishing of each of the rooms is very creatively done
