Changing appearance of NPC's??

I haven't played sims 4 in a few months. I seem to remember being able to type in testingcheats true, then cas.fulleditmode, shift-clicking on the NPC, and being able to change them in CAS. Now when I do those exact things, the CAS window pops up but even though I'm clicking on the NPC, my own character always shows up to edit. Am I missing something? I used to be able to edit NPCs in CAS this way before.

The access to that from live mode is borked for everyone right now. You can still get to CAS for them via Manage Worlds > Manage Households.

It changed with the most recent pack. You'll have to go through manage worlds until they fix it.

I thought I was the only one having this problem, I hope it gets fixed soon!
