it's new age eco hippies now, not all about drugs and rock festivals any more
In that case, how about healthy eco friendly foods? Like sweet potatoes, or quinoa or kale salad, and definitely berries. Lots of berries. Sim berries anyone?
Also I would love to see some homemade soups. Refrigerator soup remains to this day my dad's favorite way of recycling leftovers. But I'd settle for chicken or tomato or corn soup.
I would also love to see a crock pot object and casserole dishes in the game. Can't have a potluck without casserole dishes.

I have been playing The Sims since 2001, when Livin Large came out. My avatar deliberately looks like Chris Roomies from TS1.
Please long female hair. No fancy updos but long naturally wavy hair is so needed!!!! Also, anything in this pack should have simplify as it's mantra. Simple materials and shapes, functional items always. But yeah if we could have some nice long! Female hairs without fancy updos that would be amazing!!
I think the rustic-y look calls for layers, lace, wildflowers, tan leather, long cardigans and coats (Which will also be good for the Autumn/Winter release)
(Honestly, I'd like this for adult sims)
And for build/buy, I would use all the items in the drawing we've already been given to death!
(I would love some white embroidered bed linen, if possible. If not, then white linen is still good)
and all the wire/wicker and cloth baskets for decor
I really like the way the little girls are dressed
Boho jewelry made with natural stones, beads, wood, feathers, leather, copper. Tons of the stuff on Etsy. Just search for boho, wrap necklace, mala, wire-wrapped, fringe, tassel, rustic, etc.
I don't know if it would work with the animations, but I would love some long necklace styles!
I think mostly neutral earthy colors and natural fabrics. Also Sturdy outdoorsy clothes particularly pants for working in the garden! Like actual work wear not what a runway designer thinks work wear would look like, actual work wear.
Awesome idea to have an inspiration thread! I hope the designers are enjoying this as much as I am
I cannot post links or pictures yet, so I'll try to be as clear as possible without and add links with a space you can remove.
I would like to suggest a glass roof, made like the sunspot awning (slightly bigger so it will fit 4x5 tiles exactly) without the legs and with glass at the sides, so it can be placed as a roof for a greenhouse. (Could be made from the Sunspot Awning mesh maybe? And be placeable on floors so we don't need Moveobjects to place it as a roof)
Plasticbox already made a 'Sunspot Awning lightly larger' you can find here: h ttp://modthesims.info/d/571359
If combined with some windows it could end up lokking something like this: h ttp://sims4updates.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/24109982114_5cdcb57f28_z.jpg
(I made a little mistake, but can't edit my last post so here it is corrected )

In my opinion, there are a few crucial things we just need; flower crowns, overalls, way more plants, rustic furniture and objects that affect bills, like solar panels. Recycling and composting would also be nice features, also more things to do with the gardening skill. We definitely need more traits, maybe; environmentally conscious, hippy, green thumb. A new ambition would be so fun: save the planet (it could be under location) but this is still a stuff pack, so I won't be expecting a ton of new gameplay, I just don't want a laundry pack.
I can't upload images yet, or I would so make a mood board of sketches, etc.
I will, however, settle for a bullet pointed list. I apologise if people have said items already but I kind of skipped to the end after a few pages. Some of these items are also in agreement to comments I've seen and any references to past Sims content will be mentioned as such. So, without further ado, here we go.
CAS
Waterfall Skirts and Dresses in Floral Prints, Two-Tone Plain and Florals (Dresses), and Plain Colours.
Gradual Ombré Tie-Dye clothing (more there of) - i.e. Maxi Skirts, Maxi Dresses, Lounge Pants. Could also come in muted plain colour swatches.
Half Pony Tail/Updos long, mid-length, wavy and curly, with and without framing bangs.
Slouch Boots like in the Base Game, but without such a high heel.
Patchwork Dungarees in light patches, dark patches, and mismatched patches. Possibly with floral, checked and other patterned patches.
Gingham Pinafore Dress.
Straw/Woven Sun Hat, with and without decorative ribbon.
Woven Trilby Hat.
Tie-Dye T-Shirts and Sweaters.
Build and Buy
Laundry Decoration Items such Detergent, Powder, Hand-Washing Materials and the Laundry Bins in the original concept art we were given.
Futon-Style Seating in all three lounge variations (Living Chair, Loveseat, Sofa), with wooden frames, palette frames, possible cushions on the Sofa and Loveseat styles.
Pre-Made Greenhouses, Triangle Roof-Compatible Windows (wall part), Greenhouse pieces for Custom built Greenhouses.
Tire based items such as planters, a swing attached to a tree (similarly to the Movie Hangout lantern tree), ottomans/pouffes, tables and wall decorations.
The Woven 'Swing' Chair from the Sims 3 Bohemian Garden Store Set. And on this note, the Fairy Lights from the same set (both wall and ceiling mounted versions).
Distressed Items such as Worn Tables, Freying Curtains and Woven Baskets with holes.
Jar Lanterns again similar to a Sims 3 Store item when in a string.
Table top single and triple Jar Lanterns.
Other Cleaning-based decorations such as brooms, mops, dustpans and feather dusters. Possibly even a non-functional hoover for decoration.
Half-Full Corkboards because the ones we already have are either brimming with pinned content or completely empty. This is purely for decoration.
Botanical wall art such as illustrations, paintings or 3d pieces.
Washing Lines. Both long and 'inside out umbrella' styled.
One Tile and Two Tile variations of the same ottoman.
More wall-mounted Coat racks, possibly with a partially cluttered shelf attched and/or a mirror.
Wooden Frame Wardrobe with Canvas/Calico or Cotton covering.
[Eco in terms of space saving] A mirrored Built-in Wardrobe similar to in The Sims 2 (not sure of what pack it came with).
"Keep Calm and Carry On" type poster art. With relevant eco-themed phrases obviously.
Stained Glass mosaic art, could be hung on the wall. (Could incorporate salvaged or recycled bottles/glass in the description or name).
Stained Glass lanterns and vases would be great as well. Especially if paired with some arts and crafts gameplay as mentioned previously (like the Sims 3 Store venue that has glass blowing, jewellery making and pottery).
Classic 'Tiffany'-style Ceiling Lights; and Floor and Table Lamps.
Single Tile Stove/Heater similar to The Sims 3's 70s, 80s and 90s one. Could also have a log pile decoration to symbolise a fire wood collection to pair with this and other fireplaces.
A beanbag or slouch seat similar to the one in The Sims 3 University Life.
Also loving the idea of Window Seating, like a Bay Window that has a seat built in with and without cushions.
Bay windows with window sills that you can actually put things on without MOO. That would be amazing for vases, etc.
Classic Radiator covering type thing possibly with a couple of placement slots for smaller clutter items such as photo frames and collectibles.
On that note, more table top photo frames and possibly different shaped frames for a more homely look.
The general concept should include muted hues and upcycled items whilst maintaining a minimal, stylised image. Another idea would be to include a new lot type so we can build our own community Allotments.
I'm so glad the community has been given this chance.
And with regards to the people who feel this theme is pointless and lacks imagination, just remember that it was voted for by the community for the community. Plus, the Sims team are still working on other content. The new game pack seems to be like Generations from the Sims 3, or family-orientated at the very least. Plus, the last three or four items on my BB list would also look at home in the new game pack if I am correct in analysing the theme it might revolve around.
Linen is one of the most eco-friendly materials, so I think a lot of the CAS items should consist of linen and/ or other eco-friendly textures. I found some very bright and colourful fashion pieces that have a lot of nature influence, which I think is good since this stuff pack is about respecting nature and taking care of it.
Designer Olya Glagoleva and artist Lisa Smirnova had collaborated and made a fashion collection named "Art at Home", which I'm absolutely obsessed with! If you want to check their collection out for reference or inspiration, I'll post an article here that explains it: trendland.com/when-art-fashion-collides/
Here are some other references and inspiration that I personally think would fit well with the Eco-Living stuff pack. Most of these images include a lot of embroidery, bright colours and quirky patterns, which I think is super cute:
Do you think it's too artsy, or colourful for an Eco themed stuff pack? Let me know.
i apoligize in advance for what i am going to say but i clearly do not went to see any beards in the sims4 unless i can delete those in create a sim and i clearly do not went to see any long hair for male sims since in my view or gameplay style male hair needs to be short
If you went the sims5 to remain offline feel free to sign this petition http://chng.it/gtfHPhHK please note that it is also to keep the gallery

I have a few ideas for hairstyles, make - up, clothing and gameplay.
First of all - hairstyles. I think we need some spring and summer hair dus. Beach waves, ombre, different hair colours, flower crowns, buns, braids and pony tails. Maybe some with bandanas and accessories.
Next - make up. Contour, highlighter, eyebrow filler, concealer, foundation shades, smoky eyes, mascara, eyelash length options and nail varnish.
Now - clothing. Tank tops, vests, work out clothing, dungareers, rompers, dresses, shorts, skirts, shawls, sunglasses, flats and heels. All organic looking considering colours, patterns and styles.
Gameplay - mindfulness, more work outs, weights (hand and bigger ones), bicycles, skateboards, more plants, hire therapist service?
Lovely ideas above. I particularly like the small woodburner fires/fireplaces. The ones in the game take up too much space for me.
I would like the chimneys to continue through the upper floors so that another fire could be placed upstairs in bedrooms above as in earlier Sims games.

I thought of more "country-styled" outfits.
yes please

Also these doors
This pack needs also some new, a little messy, facial hair styles.
All my creations are CC free.
I really like the sunflower patterned dungarees for little girls.
And I like the suggestion of pallet furniture.
I would like to see a Belfast sink, which would go with the country style.
I like this boys hair and cardigan

would like something like this.
I like this barrel seating

And just generally upcycled furniture

I would like to see Sims clothing that looks like it has been ripped and patched up with different fabrics.
Odd socks! Not that we pick and chose, just a set that is odd with different colour options.
Maybe kids could have socks where one is up and one has fallen down.
Everything about this girl, the hair and clothes

https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/d0/66/b5/d066b5e648dce8793fa85e45d74e7f89.jpg this girls hair reminds me of my daughter's, never looks neat no matter how much I comb it or wet it. Would love something like this.
Love to you all
