Do CC eyes remove the default eyes thumbnails?

This may have been asked before but I couldn't find anything, so asking here . I installed some CC eyes but now the thumbnails for the default game eyes are gone. Does anyone know if the CC eyes overwrite/remove the default ones? Just wondering because there are times I might want to use one of the eyes that came with the game instead of a CC one, especially if I want to post a "cc free" sim to the gallery.

Cc eyes usually don't remove default eyes, it'll just add on to the collection that you already have.

That's weird, it shouldn't happen. I've got this zombie CC set and the eyes that are included there are sitting in the middle of the eye colours. Nothing gets lost.

It's possible that you took overwriting CC though (recolours of the original eyes), which would replace the default eyes. The zombie eyes are, as far as I know, actually a new addition and don't replace anything.

There are default eyes and non-default. The default eyes overwrite Maxis eyes. Non-Default are usually "masks" that can be found under the face paint category.

And as one poster said above, some non-defaults can be under the eye color category, but will only be added to the Maxis defaults (not overriding them). But it depends on the creator and how they created their set of eyes.

Hmm, ok. Guess what I downloaded was probably default overrides then. Thanks for the help .

Yes, they can. I made sure the ones I selected were non-default.
