I read just 5-6 chapter of your story, but I really enjoy it You did a great work there and the story starts totally different than many amazons challenge stories. @roseinblack69 Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoy it, I did and still do so much as well! It's always difficult to entertain authors who are doing the same or a similar challenge Want to be honest, the start was pretty tough. Before writing I played through gen 1 to get a feeling dir the characters, but most of them didn't really reveal themselves until the writing... So this was exploring them for me, too in the first 10 chapters.

So I read your story the whole night at work and it was so great... Still thinking of it and wanting to read more to the last written chapter I like your characters, they are very real and rich as personalities. It's not only the sims story, it's a book and I would buy such book with a big pleasure. I like your writing style.

First of all, referring to @Marialein 's remark about the child inheriting hair colors. I probably should tell all of you right now that if the child gets Penthesilea's hair color, I'll give it just some brown instead. All brown runs in her family.

However, i am happy that the kid won't be killed if it is a boy. Well, if it doesn't get Haimons hair ...

Io will have a hard time... But you'll learn at least a bit more in the next chapter. It's right I didn't mention that she was asked, but Penthesilea did. She may not have acted the wisest way but she would never take such a risk without knowing for sure that her future provider would agree.

Sorry to do that to you, but maybe it helps knowing that he did the right thing to save his reputation? If he'd actually supported her against Evandros, he would have lost the other leaders' trust and friendship. And he wouldn't be Serkon if he'd just let Penthesilea do whatever she wants without even asking him. He's still a king himself and no low slave, right?

Also, for you a picture of Haimon who autonomously went up to Penthesilea during a shoot to discuss his fears of commitment It was so cute that I couldn't stop or punish him and she didn't seem to bother too much.

Haimon is a much more interesting character to me--he brings some life to the party! I also am really interested in knowing what kind of child he and Penthesilea would have. Probably a force to be reckoned with! I guess I just hope that that story would be an interesting one. On the other hand, Serkon's kid might be a natural leader! I guess I don't even consider Protego as an option for the child's father... lol. Poor Protego!

I'd say its safe to assume that as long as the hair isn't red, the baby be labeled as Serkon's. Why wouldn't she do that? Lineage, pride and stuff. OR maybe Penthesilea doesn't necessarily want ties to Serkon after the way he treated her the last Chapter... Hmmm... I should just quit theorizing before I get carried away!

@roseinblack69 Yes, the lying is one of the most risky points in the moment... Told you on the blog already, Io is such a kind soul ( ). Before she was there, Haimon always went up to Penthesilea and tried to kiss and hug her, now he constantly wants to talk to Io. The housekeeping doesn't do itself, Haimon!
