It's the final morning of their holiday, and they're slowly getting ready to head home.
While his sister cooks breakfast, Edvard is already out cleaning up more trash in the water. He can't bear to see it floating around in there, it's such a shame in this beautiful area.
On his way back to shore, he's greeted by a dolphin again. Maybe they're noticing his good deeds for the ocean?
They've had a lovely vacation and can't wait to come back here some time. But now it's time to head back home for work and school.
Morgan is enjoying the Pinnacle life to the fullest. Spring is a great time to go jogging in the neighborhood. It's also a great time for gardening, and Morgan has started to plant some harvestables and make a little garden in a corner of their lot.
Other than that, they are not doing much on anything this weekend.
Their daughters are busy with their own lives. Leona is still dating Oleander, and prefers to hang out with him away from her home. That's when they seem to be doing best as a couple.
Whenever they're home with Leona's family, they start arguing very easily. There's never good vibes at the dinner table when Oleander is over.
Another dinner ending with them staying at the table fighting after the others have left.
There must be a reason for this dynamic, and the most likely reason is also a very dangerous one. Oleander seems become more and more taken with Leona's sister Susan. It might only be admiration for her amazing guitar skills, but it might also be something more.
Susan enjoys Oleander's company a lot too, so they sometimes hang out together without Leona and certainly without telling her.
Ylva is staying far away from all of that drama and is mostly hanging out with her new best friend, Titania Bailey-Moon. They usually go to the art center.
It's the morning of Love Day, and Lennart is greeting Morgan in the kitchen with a flower. Then he takes her to a botanical garden with a spa underneath it.
They have a romantic time in the garden and enjoy hand and foot massages together. A perfect date!
Later that afternoon, Susan is also invited on a date - by Oleander!
They go roller skating at the park and spend a long time chatting.
It would have been the perfect first date if it wasn't all so very forbidden.
When Susan arrives home, she meets a very annoyed Leona who is in an awful mood because she hasn't been able to reach her boyfriend - on Love Day! When she learns that Susan has been out having fun, maybe even on a date, she says a lot of bitter things to convince herself Susan's date was a failure. Susan is only giving her "You are so wrong"-smirks and not saying much.
But Leona, in her growing suspicion, has managed to track them down and is now witnessing her worst nightmare. The kissing couple are way too busy to notice her, so she sulks back outside to cry in the bushes.
When Susan walks out from the pool building, Leona is waiting with a drink to throw in her betraying sister's face. People in the street stop and stare.
Susan has never seen her sister so angry, and it really frightens her. This is destroying their relationship for sure.
But at home, both girls try to pretend like nothing. They don't want to drag the rest of their family into their toxic drama.
In fact, the two of them aren't really talking at all. Susan tries to reach out to her sister a couple of times, but only to meet a wall of ice.
Leona and Oleander are obviously over. The official breakup happens while Leona is sick and should stay in bed, not getting even more stressed and miserable by a bitter breakup. Poor girl has pretty much hit an emotional rock bottom.
Susan and Oleander long to start dating officially, but understand very well that they have to wait a while.
It hasn't been long before Ylva's "new best friend" became her girlfriend. Titania is so gorgeous and talented, Ylva looks so much up to her and is totally crazy about her.
She finally gathered the courage for a first kiss, and since then there has been no doubt about their feelings for each other.
Lennart finally managed to make Leona tell him why she's been hiding in her bedroom for over a week and why her expression looks like someone has died.
Leona is glad she's finally been able to vent out to someone who knows and loves her. She feels like this is a small step in the direction of healing her broken heart.
The time has come for Leona to age up and leave the nest. She can't wait to focus on her new job as a programmer, and she's moving into an apartment in San Myshuno's art districts with some other freelancers. Her relationship with Susan hasn't mended, so she probably won't stay much in contact with her sisters.
Morgan is probably a bit emotional from her children starting to move out, and she's having her first ever meltdown in front of a paparazzi in their garden.
Now that it's only Susan and Ylva living at home, the two younger sisters are becoming closer and bonding over similar artistic interests. Susan is a huge talent on the guitar and starting to get recognized for it.
In addition to bringing her easel around everywhere, Ylva has started working on some of the old artifacts that have been sitting in the garage since the family trip to Selvadorada. She has a very good eye for details.
Her largest and most challenging work yet has been a portrait of her guitar playing sister.
The family is celebrating Midsummer with a big garden party. When the guests have left they want to relax on the patio and enjoy some leftover drinks, but Lennart has to chase away a paparazzi first.
They stay in the garden until after dark and light the fire pit for some extra atmosphere. Morgan and Lennart can't believe how fast their girls are growing up, soon they'll all be off on their own.
Edvard Kalani-Kauffmann is following his dream and moved to Sulani with his girlfriend Agathe the moment he bacame a young adult. Now they're working towards becoming a part of the community.
They're trying to live as sustainable as possible, and catch and grow most of their own food. Agathe is therefore working hard on her fishing skill.
They live in a tiny off-the-grid beach house. Today's catch is about to become dinner on the campfire.
Fall is the rainy season in Sulani, which they learn the hard way in their tiny hut.
Agathe has started in the conservationist career, and is spending some time in the local library most days to do research. She also spends quite a bit of time outside doing field work, which is what makes the rainy season difficult. But she tries to make the most of the few sunny days.
The island is in pretty bad shape. People need to become more conscious about what they throw and spill into the ocean!
Making people more conscious about the environment is exactly what Edvard wants to focus on in his job. He's joined the politician career with the hope that he can make a difference. Agathe is helping him start protests around town, mostly in front of the library.
Quite a few people seem to agree with their message, and are joining in.
They like to spend the evenings at the beach bar to interact with people, but also because there isn't much to do in their tiny house.
But chores have to be done also in awful weather conditions, which is not ideal when your only option is to hang the laundry outside and you also have to go outdoors for food.
But altogether they are super happy with their new life together and very excited about the future!
FINALLY a nice day. They use it for all it's worth. Agathe gets to practice some painting and Edvard comes with her to the volcano island to research wildlife. Their laundry dries for once too.
A nice social time at the bar is the perfect way to end a good day.
>> But chores have to be done also in awful weather conditions, which is not ideal when your only option is to hang the laundry outside and you also have to go outdoors for food.
I always wondered, can't a clothesline be placed under some "outdoor roof" construction, or even just outside the house wall ? In some worlds it rains often, but I'd imagine that some shelter could help? I don't have the Laundry pack, so never tested.
@Simmerville I honestly never tried, but something tells me it wouldn't make a difference and the game would register it as being outdoors anyway? Also realistically clothes would still take longer to dry under roof when it's raining because of air moisture. And I don't mind the challenge this feature provides for my sims
Someone else has also started a new life as young adults: Susan and Ylva have moved to an apartment in San Myshuno with their partners Oleander and Titania.
With a good chunk of money coming from their parents they have been able to get a spacious, three-level Uptown gem.
Catlover Susan has of course adopted her very own cat, Yoghurt, who follows her everywhere.
The other household members are slightly less passionate about Yoghurt, but they're trying.

Edvard notices some garbage laying around and feels like cleaning it up.
He goes for an evening swim and meets a friendly dolphin.
Before he heads back to the tent, he takes a shower in a large waterfall. He really loves being out here in this nature.

Ylva has brought Titania along for one of her father's club gigs.
They too are a happy and very cute couple.
And so is Morgan's career - her video channel has made her a global superstar!
