It’s interesting. When the devs see some of our recommendations I’m sure they must be thinking, “but they have tees and flannel and tanks and denim.” The difference is in how they’re combined. The ability to layer would improve things a lot.

For me it's not we don't some have flannel and denim its we have ugly flannel and denim all with a similar style that I don't want skinny jeans, above the ankle, skintight t-shirts with ugly colors and horrible patterns on most swatches. They should look to cc creators like Peacemaker and Luumia and see how to make things better and broaden their style choices besides skirts for men and practice adding in normal color swatches seriously the community had to beg for white doors.
Sims 4 went from "You Rule" to "One of the stories we want you to tell"
alt fashion and/or feminine clothes for men would be awesome... if you're using 'feminine' clothes then it just completely reshapes your man's body and you don't want that.

I feel this so hard - the ability to layer would make such a difference I also wish they had more half sleeve and quarter sleeve styles. Not everyone wants to wear their sleeves all the way down the the wrist

No, it wouldn’t be awesome because what’s the point of labeling clothing with feminine/ masculine tags if the game is just going to ignore any of those? Townie fashion is already a complete circus.
That body mesh bug needs to get fixed instead of disregarding the issue by releasing CAS content that could potentially mess up the tagging system or render it obsolete. There is so much feminine style clothing, the only work-around is by creating masculine versions of the feminine items and “hide” them behind feminine tags so that when a player chooses to dress a sim in a dress who has a male frame, the game will call for the appropriate mesh automatically. And they should never be randomly generated on a male frame. Same goes for masculine clothing on female frames.
I personally wouldn’t buy niche packs that are dedicated to men in feminine clothing, that’s the easy part, but sometimes a couple of those items could end up getting included in bigger packs. In that case it’d be hard to control the random generating of those items without needing mods, unless they make sure the script stops that from happening. Regardless, that CAS bug still needs to get fixed.
What they should do is update all the meshes and tag them accordingly. Obviously this will take a lot more time than creating a bunch of feminine styles for males, add them to the male wardrobe and call it a day.
Oh, wow!!! So many, many male clothing ideas here! This thread has a lot of great ideas!
And yes, I would love male sims to have more choices. I do feel that the male clothing get neglected or get much less attention than the female clothing in many of the Sims games.
I would like a long hair swept to the side for my vampire Sims. More jeans and track pants for male Sims. More dress shoes with a darker black colour because sometimes they look a little lighter than the suits. Plain T shirts with athletic looking logos. Warm and cozy holiday sweaters that are not too tacky. Puffy reindeer slippers for everyone. Fuzzy warm winter pajamas for both genders.

Ok I found them, it's unlocked by a career.
It would be nice if Maxis could stop to hide the CAS content.

Dapper Tweed suits
Kilt suits and tuxedos
Linen suits
I'd also like to see some of the details that make suit styles stand out from each other.
I really like these pictures. I would buy a pack containing these clothes. 😊
