while playing the sims 4, do you prefer using the sims 4 camera or the sims 3 camera? and why? any feedback greatly appreciated.
i was reading a link about build mode yesterday and finally discovered how you are able to place objects diagonally. the guide stated that you must use the sims 3 camera to rotate the object. i haven't tried it yet as my world i'm currently playing in is already set up.
this got me to wondering if i should just use the sims 3 camera as my default camera in sims 4. what are the pros and cons?

I don't know why they chose to make Sims 4 camera the default option. By all means a laptop friendly control setup is great, but it makes no sense for a desktop user to have to adapt to backwards controls instead of making the default option the familiar option.

I only use the TS3 camera for building if I want it to look more realistic and nice, because it allows you to rotate objects freely when pressing Alt+LMB.
I much prefer TS3 style but I find that TS4 style is the only way I can operate the camera with just the mouse.
I can't get the Y axis swivel to work in TS3 style, (for some reason the scroll wheel method doesn't work for me) nor can I can rotate the lot without either opening the camera menu or using the keyboard.
Hence I mostly just suffer with the TS4 style camera.
Saying "not to be rude", then blatently being rude does not excuse rude behavior.
Forsome reason the ts3 one confuses me .
The more you use it the easier it becomes until its just second nature
