Welp, that's a wrap, folks! We've officially made it to the end of the Build & Buy Design Star contest on twitter, so with that, I shall share my final submission which was meant to be a renovation or a room already decorated that best represents your home!

Home is where the heart is & my heart in this home is the living room with built-ins abound, decorated in warm tones & pops of color. A place where the whole family relax together. Tickle the ivories, curl up with a good book in front of the roaring fire & just LIVE.
Hearth & home is what this house was meant to convey & for me, this cosy space sums that up perfectly.
HOLY SCHMOLY! It's been a heck of a long time since I've posted a build before a video. In fact, I believe that last time was the last Build-n-Share Challenge that I participated in. Welp, I'm happy to say that I'm back with the April challenge and I'm squeaking in only a smidge before the deadline (typical me!). The full brief can be found here. The mini brief is below:
Requirements:
- §30,000 budget
- 1 or 2 bedroom home, you have free reign on how the house is built, landscaped, laid out etc.
- Must include: a computer, a vegetable garden, a chess table, an easel, at least one musical instrument, at least one piece of fitness equipment and a book case.
A small, yet quaint coach house makes for the perfect one bedroom, one bathroom cottage for a Sim that loves a cozy space decorated in a shabby chic style. With colors of baby blue, pinks, and flower patterns throughout, The Coach House is very feminine in its décor. It features an open main floor plan with an elevated sunroom that looks out onto the small pond, back deck and vegetable garden. Even though it is a small home, there is plenty to do from playing chess, playing piano, painting or simply curling up with a good book in front of the fireplace.

I hope you all like this little Coach House as much as I do; I'll be putting it up for download at a later date. I actually built this cottage several times, but always kept getting kicked in the teeth by the budget (*shakes fist*), so I will be rebuilding it without having to worry about moolah because I did love some of the more spacious versions of it. Of course, I shall be filming that! Stay tuned

I did have to make the back dormer bigger because I still can't figure out the 3x3 thing, but it did work at one point, so I'm still scratching my head. Kudos to whoever wrote the brief because I would've never used colors like that, but I'm glad you like how they came out; I like them too! Now to recreate this on a bigger scale because I do love it.
I had a little break from making videos as my little niece was across the pond to visit me. Family time is the best time, but I'm baaaaack and super excited!
