I'm definitely going to start this challenge! I love the concept of the colors as well as the generational task. I've never done the science career!!
I love the combination of sim traits and aspirations. I'm so used to creating the same type of sim. Def going to be a challenge.
In creating my founder I went on a search for some new hair. Here's a great simmer I found. Its mostly re-colors and other maxis match hairs if anyone is interested! wildlyminiaturesandwich.tumblr.com/tagged/mycc
Alright, so, I joined the forum just to comment on this thread. I was looking for something to spice up my Sims gameplay, and I think this is it! I've never done a challenge before (though I've been playing the Sims since Sims 1). I've printed off the challenge rules and I'm off to create my founder! Btw, the link that Emma-LeeXOXO posted for the hair re-colors is awesome! I'm downloading several to add to my game.
Almost forgot ... @lilsimsie@alwaysimming
This has a really great concept and I love how the traits and aspirations match up so well with the generation colors.
i don't have the get to work pack and have yet to afford it.. i am really eager to do this challenge so I'm asking if there is anything i can do to replace that pack :s :s
@gracelynn034 Hmm, maybe you could have your mint sim join a career that isn't the scientist career, but also isn't one of the future careers for your future heirs? So, for example, Secret Agent, Culinary, etc I know, it kind of sucks to not be able to do it properly, but I think this is the best you can do until you can get the Get To Work expansion pack. Or, you could just wait, if you really want to do it properly.
Good luck with the challenge, should you choose to do it!

Thx lily!! im glad there r helpful commenters like u ^_^! <3
I have a question. What if you don't have Get to Work? Would you have an alternative career that is similar or would you be unable to do the challenge?
LOVE the idea of this challenge but I only have the base game. Like the poster above, wondering if anyone knows of any alternatives to the scientist career? And is that the only part of the challenge that requires an expansion?
Just found this challenge and think it sounds really rather ultra cool. I absolutely loooove colour (I have rainbow hair IRL) but have a strict rule against the unnatural skin colours on the sims (I absolutely refuse to bright green and blue sims running around my games, it kinda ruins the stories/plans that I have for them) so the idea of not-so-berry berry sims sounds perfect! I've never really done/followed a challenge before but I guess there's a first time for everything - this here is the first sim, Mariam Enfys!
First day at work and already Mariam has found a potential partner… that said she wasn’t as keen once she realised how non-commital he is - maybe they’ll just remain friends…
Besides, there’s too much work to be doing and science-y stuff to be science-ing for her to think of anything else… right?
Despite her better judgement, Mariam accompanied Don to a party. However a rather dull (and quite frankly tense) get together turned into something more where she met Mitchell.
A whirlwind romance insured, one which, ultimately, ended in a proposal and pregnancy (though not necessarily in that order).
With Mitchell not even moved in yet, and Mariam’s career still at its beginning, how will they cope with a baby on the way?

I'll share my founder as soon as she's ready!
Looks like maybe it should be under section: The Sims 4 › The Sims 4 Creative Corner › The Sims 4 Stories and Legacies
http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/categories/the-sims-4-stories-and-legacies
Not a deal breaker but more Sims4 players could see it there.
Good to know it is on the Sims 4 Challenge List with your @lilsimsie tumblr site

She not only works out her mind but also her body!
Her future husband, Jamie Brute
Starting her elements collection.
She was taking work very seriously. Working on that promotion.
She got the promotion! Her coworkers took her out to celebrate.
Mint thought why not invite Jamie.
It seemed like things were moving along in that relationship.
She had to keep up working on her body so she visited the gym where she had an admirer.
But Mint only has eyes for Jamie.
