MCCC v2022.5.0 for Sims 4 game version 1.91.186 is out now!

The newest public release for MCCC includes necessary fixes for the aging changes made by EA for HSY for default age spans.

This release tested to be working with (but does not require) GTW, OR, Get Together, Dine Out, City Life, Vampires, Parenthood, Cats & Dogs, Jungle Adventures, Seasons, Get Famous, Strangeville, Island Living, Realm of Magic, Discover University, Eco Living, Journey to Batuu, Snowy Escape, Cottage Living, Werewolves, High School Years and the patch released August 30, 2022 - PC: 1.91.186.1030 / Mac: 1.91.186.1230.

Versions before this most likely won't work, so don’t be surprised if that’s the case!

The mod folder will look more or less like this after MCCC 2022.5.0 installation/update:
    y4mFN5ud1m5e96cY0jjF2wnBCw3fkjHS_Slb22rWVWMz5d4xwwXqtvLUkbAVHR4PPuyQ0NnOZSafe5xze0-rQDzksupFIGk_-gI539U_6uB559YVL0BPF8CByZ5H448sVRr2jgP6ls_yIwYCQLZNj6Dn9JxA6sB4YOJQpckzBrDi_DBEuAjrFXCZSCQZ3_TXQTr?width=659&height=510&cropmode=none

As proof of installation the welcome screen of MCCC 2022.5.0 looks like this:
    y4mlPKC19aHkM8zlp1p5odxuiutkhQuLMemj5C5fllWDNA3XiNguqO4MCxslCHYgoS-U_5KwLDWS4ZefLpKqh5F6pDA0yH-O5ULHtDz4A7FaDFOL3evZIFentMtRgl9pObMFts_QvdMM1DMxZ9heCDuILfdP46MIl1WyB4wBhPDgMK0YSIAMib1bKONrmR-Sql-?width=386&height=419&cropmode=none

Check the CC and Mods in your game and use current versions only. Be careful when using outdated or orphaned DLC. If you get an orange error message referring to a Last Exception, the reason is most likely broken 3rd party stuff.

Legacy players (32-bit) should keep MCCC version 6.6.0:

Will I need to re-adjust break up settings I had in place in the previous version?

If you re-use your old mc_settings.cfg with the new MCCC Version, there should be no need for reconfigure those options. There was no change in the breakup settings recently.

At least this time I remembered to grab my setting.cfg before I trashed the older version of MCCC. Hopefully, there will be no targeting of my 'main' character via Death by Hysteria. Oi. Thanks @Bonxie for this good news. :)

Yes, it's a pain when you accidentally throw out your settings file. That happened to me this update, and I was so worried I'd get my story progression settings wrong (basically everything set to 0 or disabled). I like to be able to check on and sometimes change a pregnancy (like for a challenge that requires twins), so I don't won't to throw out the module entirely. But I got all the important things reset and only forgot to pause my lots on entering. So that I had to go back and do.

Is it possible to move items from one household inventory to another household inventory?
My sim self has moved and i would like him to have his current furniture with him at his new place
    is this possible?

I don't think you need MCCC for that. Just have him keep his furniture upon the move.

My sim self has moved in to an "apartment" block and using the roommate system to fill the other units. He's given his house to his youngest daughter Beatrix and her partner and i moved my sim self out via split household and his family inventory didn't transfer with him to the new place.

So i want to transfer the inventory to him without disrupting the ownership of his house.

Unless there is a provision for this in MCCC, then you either have to roll back a save and place his stuff in those chests from Uni (provided you have Uni) and place those in his inventory. Other than that I have no more advice. I had a similar problem several months ago. I decided not to move my Sim and his family out of the lot, but rather to rebuild the lot. I goofed up, big time. All of his music (written) and his (Fabergé-type) Easter Eggs were left behind. I rolled back and made certain his sheet music, et al, was secured before I allowed the new lot to be placed over the old one. It was a mess.

I managed to find a mod that did exactly what i wanted it to. It's called packing crates and it lets you select items to put in to it and unpack them anywhere else. I thought i saw something about inventories and MCCC which is why i thought you could transfer items between one household with MCCC.

Stay tuned to the What Happened in your Game Today thread as the spoilers will be explained there shortly.

Hello! I'm new. I'm having a problem similar to this post https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/882460/mc-command-center-pregnancy-question. The only difference is that instead of changing the duration of pregnancy, it happens when I try to start a pregnancy and have more than 3 babies. I have the max offspring at 6 and max household children at 30.

Does the break-up option include sims who are already married but separated as in living in different households or is it just completely random?

Alright, decided to make the jump and try building a Nraas style story progression. Will MCCC's many modules have a way to limit progression to anyone not in "my households" or otherwise marked? I've had these unplayed Sims I've wanted to keep untouched beyond what I do with them for the sake of it, while still wanting a world to progress around them.

I'm also just wondering if it's possible to work in conjuration with mods that also limit Sims to their worlds. I've wanted to keep Sims from Sulani interacting with their own little bubble when deciding on marriages and such, while having the idea that Oasis Springs, Strangerville and Tartosa could mix together when it comes to what happens to them.

I don't know, if I understand your question. The break-up option includes all sims with the exception of those, who are affected by the respective bypass-options or who have been individual flagged.

First question: Look for the "Bypass played households" options in the MC Pregnancy and MC Populations modules in the computer's MCCC menu. Those modules are the main components for MCCC story progression. There are also some of these options in the MC Command Center module, which is the main module and necessary for all other modules to function properly. For micro management of individuals (also NPCs) you might have a look for the available flags in the sim's MCCC menu.

Second question: There is no function in MCCC to limit its features to certain worlds. All the settings from the computer's MCCC menu are global settings which affect all sims (with intentional exceptions, see bypass functions above). The commands from the sim's MCCC menu are individual settings limited to the target sim.

You might find the MCCC documentation of every feature and a search function for it here:
    https://deaderpool-mccc.com/#/doc/settings
    https://deaderpool-mccc.com/#/doc/commands

I hope, this makes somehow sense.

So i'm guessing the break-ups and divorces with MCCC are just random then?

I think what you're asking, is whether the MCCC break-up/divorce feature will cause a divorce or break up between Sims who are living separately but married, or only Sims living under the same roof? If I understand this correctly, I think the break up affects the relationship itself and has nothing to do with where the respective couple is living. It just changes their status from "married" to "divorced." They are random just like the marriages. Though they are affected by things that can cause relationships to gain or lose points. Some examples are when one of the couple hates children, but they have children, when they are living with children from a previous relationship, living with in-laws, or different occult types.

My Sim self and his wife Liberty's marriage
but so far i've had no pops updating me on their relationship.
