On the one hand a new world which looks very nice in the previews and a big progress in build mode with curverd walls.
On the other hand there are way too much restrictions in game play (no interaction in classes, afternoon clubs are rabbitholes, the peer objects are rabbitholes and that huge sports ground behind the school can hardly be used for any activity). All that additional social media enhancement doesn't look appealing to me, but may be I'm too old for that (born before the internet).
Also the equivalent of high school in my world is completely different from what was designed in the pack. It looks like a nineties teenie comedy to me and really not like the school life that I had.

I hear you. There's a lot I could do without in this pack, but I have wanted the curved walls forever! I was born before the Internet, too. Possibly longer before than you. My values are considered "Old School" for which I resent, especially when it comes out of the mouth of one of my own grown kids! Wife of 48 years, mother for 44 years, grandmother of 13. I still have a land-line phone. But, at lest it's cordless. LOL And I have to say that I'm a bit more computer savvy than either of my first two kids. At my age! We had Hall Passes. I just missed the era wherein I would have to kneel on the floor to make certain the hem of my dress/skirt touched the floor when I did so. Phew! It wasn't until I was in my Senior year, I think it was, that girls were finally allowed to wear pants to school. I'm sorry, nylons just don't cut it in the cold.

Regarding curved walls:
I'm a bit concerned regarding the functionality of the curved walls since they are more or less rooms with one curved "corner". I'm pretty sure that we will have the same restrictions as with the curved decks or platforms and a lot of routing errors. Yeah and unfortunately no concave walls, only the convex one. But I'm glad that we got at least that feature after all those years.
Thank goodness we never had school uniforms. And of course we never had hall passes (I had to google the meaning first). And we had no lockers in our hall and there were no "Prom" in the meaning of what is designed in the pack. We had of course school parties and school festivals, but I guess that's something completely different. We had 13 years instead of 12.
When I was in High School from 1988 - 1997 (somebody told me that "Grammar School" would be a better translation for our term "Gymnasium") we had teachers who mostly graduated in the 1970/80, so we had very liberal school rules. There was a lot of freedom and in the end I have to say that I enjoyed my school life.

If a person attends Kindergarten, then it's thirteen years of schooling overall. We call Grammar School K-6 in most cases. Some make it K-5, with 6-8 being Middle School. or Junior High. Some Districts start Middle School with 7th grade and go through 9th grade. Depending on the District, your first year of high school could be 10th grade. I went to a K-6, to start out. Then we moved and I went to a K-8, not really a middle school or even Junior high, so I got teased by my friends in the other city. I began high school in the 9th grade. It was a four year high school. Gymnasium here in the USA is a building where sports takes place.
Now that you have explained the curved walls, I am a bit concerned, too. I guess I'll just have to see how it goes.
I have a quicky question about MCCC. The tray import feature is one of my favorite things so my townies look 'normal'. Does this also work with pets? I've noticed game-generated pets, dogs in particular, tend to be very, very, very odd looking.
@GalacticGal, try this one: I went to a school that was k-6th then we moved and I changed to a school that was K-7th. 8th grade was in high school. Talk about culture shock. There was no Junior high/middle school where I lived. We were thrown from Grammar/Elementary school to high school with no preparation as to the differences. The only upside to 7th grade in elementary school was one extra year of recess, field trips, and Show and Tell.
Oh, where I lived, they opened a middle school after I left high school. My only reaction was "Oh, yeah, now they open a middle school."
Celebrating 11 years on this forum. Simming proudly since 2001.
Hopefully someone can help.. I have the Woohoo Wellness mod and just installed MCCC yesterday for the teen pregnancy visual. Before that, the "pregnancy & family" tab worked properly with parents and now the option has disappeared. I removed all MCCC content from mods folder and restarted the game but that didn't fix the issue either..

Did you delete the localthumbcache.package? You must do this before and after you install or uninstall a mod. This holds onto little bits of the mod.

I did not. Where is that located? I've just started playing with more mods so I'm still getting used to everything lol.
You can find it in your Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 4 game folder. DO NOT ACCESS this while the game is on. It will be below the game folders. Scroll down until you find it and then delete it. Not to worry it regenerates every time you fire up the game.

I found it. Unfortunately, that wasn't the reason the tab disappeared. That's disappointing. I don't know what else it could be.

Sorry for the late answer. No, the "Paste Tray Sims" commands are not available on pets.
Bonxie: Great Skua, stercorarius skua. Meet me on Fair Isle.
This release has been tested to be working with (but does not require) GTW, OR, Get Together, Dine Out, City Life, Vampires, Parenthood, Cats & Dogs, Jungle Adventures, Seasons, Get Famous, Strangeville, Island Living, Realm of Magic, Discover University, Eco Living, Journey to Batuu, Snowy Escape, Cottage Living, Werewolves and the patch released June 14, 2022 - PC: 1.89.214.1030 / Mac: 1.89.214.1230.
Versions before this most likely won't work, so don’t be surprised if that’s the case!
The mod folder will look more or less like this after MCCC 2022.4.0 installation/update:
As proof of installation the welcome screen of MCCC 2022.4.0 looks like this:
✘ Check the CC and Mods in your game and use current versions only. Be careful when using outdated or orphaned DLC. If you get an orange error message referring to a Last Exception, the reason is most likely broken 3rd party stuff.
I have problem with MCCC. When I installed it it started to mess with my savegame. I believe MCCC is the culprit because I have neighbourhood stories turned off and no other mods about sims' population or their autonomy.
Suddenly sims from unplayed households started moving out and moving in to another households and started to have babies on their own. This is annoying and messes with my saves. Is it a way to stop this? I've searched through the options of MCCC and I haven't find any particular that can cause this...
Anyone can help me to get rid of what is going on with my sims?

The MCCC story progression is the original intention and main feature of the mod and the reason why it exists. MCCC was introduced in 2015 (seven years before EA gave us the neighborhood stories) to enable especially those effects you're experiencing in your game. So everything works as designed. If you find MCCC annoying, you shouldn't use it at all.
Of course you can switch off the entire story progression by removeing the MC Pregnancy and MC Population module from your mods folder.
You might also fine tune the settings of both the MC Pregnancy and MC Population module to get a more refined results which suits your play style. All settings and commands of MCCC are listed and explained on our docu webpage. Use https://deaderpool-mccc.com/#/doc/settings for an explanation of all options from the computer's MCCC menu and https://deaderpool-mccc.com/#/doc/commands for those on the sim's MCCC menu.

Oh, I didn't know that. I use MCCC for many reasons, but not for story progression. It would be sad for me now not using it at all...

Thank you for these links, I will check them out. And thank you for an answer. I didn't know what is happening in my game, I even suspected that something is wrong with neighborhood stories which I switched off at the beginning. Now I have to consider what is best for my gameplay.
