This would be great. I love the vampires. I'm really hoping at some stage they add fairies too. They were my favorite supernatural in Sims 3.

After playing with vampires, I NEED a witches pack now. I want them to have a skill tree too with different potions they can make and spells they can cast. I also want the ability to create covens where witches can work together to create more powerful spells.

Oh, dear. I should not have stumbled onto this threat right before bed! Yikes! Now I'm all excited.

I think of the missing supernaturals witches are most deserving to have their own GP. I like the other options in the surveys too, but not sure if all of them have enough lore to make it worthwile. I'd still like to see robots, werewolves, shapeshifters, mermaids and fairies too.

witches do, Sorcerers even more, Werewolves should, perhaps Faries, or just Elfish in General... have enough to fill a GP.

What I would like is if powers are a pick one of like in the vampires and two witches with the ability to cast two different spells could team up and cast one bigger hybrid spell that covers both, like one can make it rain, one can create frogs so together, both can make it rain frogs.

I agree they should Make a Spell book UI.
And each chapter contains a topic on magic

The chapters are non linear and the player can highlight exactly what you your sim to take away from the chapter.

So chapter two for example is "two sides of the same coin" light and Dark magic you could choose light dark or both, hey if you're creating an evil witch remember love is a powerful weapon, manipulate it to the fullest!

Chapter 5: should be The 5 Elements
    Fire
    Water
    Earth
    Air
    Spirit
You can literally choose any you want your sim to be well versed it, no limits. But the catch is you have to stay on top of it, practice your magic, just because you unlocked the spell doesn't mean you've mastered it, you have to exercise it constantly because your power can fade over time.

The witches GP in the 3rd survey on Simsvip is exactly what I want!! I hope players vote for this pack!

Although I do like playing vampires, I like witches a little more.
Considering what The Sims Studio did with TS4 vampires, I would really like this if they allowed for different kinds of witches. :)

Even if they did do some broom riding.
    snapshot_95c12017_55e1b574.jpg

I would like to be able to choose from an assortment of powers for more freedom.
Perhaps my use of those powers would give my sim a reputation for being good or evil. Perhaps they are even good at getting away with evil spells, thus keeping a good reputation.

    Here's something I wonder people's opinions on:

Would people prefer a powers system similar/identical to the vampires one, or would people want witches to revisit the good, neutral, evil thing that Sims 2 had going on? Or just experiment in general and try something new using the powers system?
I would prefer them to be nothing like past sims games and revamped like the vampires were.

I am not going to lie I think It would be great if they did split each Gp up for each one. That would be great I definitely agree with you guys:)) I would love if they could expand the Fairies game. Where they could make them really small but you could see all the details instead of being normal size with the exception if they could do it like vampires, were every time you gain a power you gain a weakness. Like if you choose to be a fairy Godmother you could get big. I would love if they made them be able to be good or bad. To be a light or dark fairy. To be able to grant wishes and help animals and plants, and even help children. Like they could play in the kids dollhouse with them and kids could set out and make a fairy garden for there fairy friends. They could put little fairy doors on their walls were their fairy friends could magically visit. For a fairy gathering or play date with the kids. They could make little tables for kids to play tea with their fairies. Plus I think it would be really cool if they could actually design their own fairy home inside and out, and you could actually go and play like a real house you made for your sims. It would be cool like instead of a vampire hunter, you could have the game play to catch a fairy, and a fairy skill you could gain could be escaping, and blending in. There could be different fairy jobs you could apply. and maybe some fairies could be good at tinkering and have a skill of fixing things for sims. It would be could if they added a new world for them or even just expanded Sylvan Glade for fairies to be able to live there, I would be so happy if they do anything of the sort with any of these ideas:)) I know they are pretty out there, but either way whatever comes out I will be so excited!!:))))

I would like to see powers, so that I can decide what is good and bad in my game. I enjoyed the vampire GP a lot, have made really different vampires and would like to be able to do that again.

Not sold on broom flying, hope the broom is optional. Cauldron yeas please but I'm not that much into brooms.

EA's system lately seems to be making their packs smaller and more frequent. In the long term we get more content but we also pay a lot more.

By specialising Vampires we've got a very in-depth Vampire lifestate but it also goes to show that all the supernatrual life-states may come out in indivudual stages too. It's exciting, but it's also expensive and there's no guarantee of high quality improvements the way we saw vampires improved. Plus, what if you don't like Vampires but you like Fairies, but Fairies and Witches come out together? Well you'd feel as if Fairies and Witches aren't getting as much work as Vampires did.

I think witches should have to learn their magic in increasing levels like vampires do. I think fairies should be born with magic as they are magical creatures. Broom riding could be a lower level skill like turning into a bat. Disappearing in a puff of purple smoke (like vampires disappear in black smoke) could be a high level skill. I would love broom jousting like the vampires have sparring. There could be a nice version to test each others power and a mean version for hurting another witch.

The broom definitely seems the most "worthless" of the list since we lack an open world. I think at best it'd be something for transport similar to super speed or bat form.

Personally I'd almost be equally excited for alchemy as a skill as I would be for witch powers. If you look at Sims 3 for example, Witches could murder with things like Thirst Curse or cast fire (cast at someone's feet rather than at them), but if you didn't know the trick with Cast Fire then using alchemy potions to turn someone into a vampire still made Thirst Curse potent. Or with Witch spells you could instantly fill Hunger, Hygiene and Bladder, but Invigorating Elixers in Alchemy or Potions of Bliss would fill energy and fun respectively. The two went really well together, and there's plenty of abilities from past games that we still lack in 4. Beyond some rather lengthy (animation process wise) and impractical Scientist serums, we lack the ability to mess with an NPC Sim's weight or appearance. Love charm and zombifying others are two other examples of past powers witches have had that we lack completely from Sims 4 in concept. Definitely plenty to work with for a witches pack.

Another thing that's kinda neat is that with the Vampires they chose to reference as much vampire lore as possible. Dracula, Twilight, Underworld, etc. They really went and looked for different cultural works that referenced vampires and tried to include as much as possible. I definitely feel they could do the same with witches, given stories from the witch hunts, stories like Harry Potter, the witches from Wizard of Oz, and so on.

Well For Werewolves... I wouldn't be opposed to a "Vast" forest. either Oak, Pine,or Redwood
and at the edge of the forest you have a big 64x64 lot, or bigger, that's on a cliffside... like so

    x_mansion_backdrop_by_mphattyboi-db0xxsx.jpg
and theres like two-three other lots total scattered throughout the forest. I don't really want a communal, neighborhood, a lot of visitors, to walk around the world to this world I want it to be more of a forest, where you could camp, a large national park where you might go searching collectables, or whatever, or just go jogging. with somewhat mountainous terrain, wide open lakes that leads into an ocean, small beach/cove.

it just offers a lot of exploring room, Some danger, because you're in wolf territory.
and maybe in some Distance there's a city skyline, so it's feels like it's not too distant from society.

but I need this place to exist because I want my werewolf Aristocratic family to have an estate in this kind of a setting.

But back To Sorcerers... I don't really care for, or if a world comes with it, I prefer magic and animations be whats focused on the most.

I'm worried that witches will be shoved into an SP or something horrible like that when I feel they deserve as much attention as Vampires got. Hopefully I'm wrong and we'll get something incredibly fleshed out and innovative. I desperately want a bayou-type world to accompany the pack and also for it to have voodoo elements. There are so many forms of magic and I think it would be interesting for the devs to explore that and give us diverse material on the subject.

Given Willow Creek, Magnolia Promenade and Newcrest all mostly fit into a Louisiana theme, I would be very surprised if a witch pack featured a bayou world.

Nah Windenburg isn't good enough For my Werewolves. But I did use the Island of windenburg to build my werewolf mansion... but I don't want my mansion to stay there, I need a vast forest to roam, not a small Island in a corner of the world. if they introduce a Somewhat large Forest with mountainous terrain, and wide open lakes, with 2-3 Lots, the forest could appear to neighbor any current world or future world.

Everything but two things sounds good. Using a broom to cast a spell...I hope they turn that into a staff for wizards.....and the other thing about casting spells on objects if it's just like what we have already with the science career to either change or clone an object then the game is repeating itself. But I would like a GP about witches if they rethink those two things.

Guys, I'm sorry for my English and I'm from Brazil. But I also really want to see a pack of witches on The Sims 4.
The witch lineups could go back to the side of the hidden magic ability. I also wanted a cauldron to prepare the potions and a book of spells and we can not forget the wands
There would be specific spells for each alignment.
The magic ability could be about 20 levels. Good Witch Spells Level 2 - Happiness Spell, all negative emotions Sad, Furious, Uncomfortable, Shamed and Stunned are removed from the target Sim and replaced with 'VERY HAPPY' emotion and all the needs of the target sim are fulfilled.
Level 4 - Maximum Happiness Spell, Remove the negative emotions from all the sims within the lot and everyone gets the 'VERY HAPPY' emotion and all the needs of the sims within the lot are fulfilled.
Level 6 - Prosperity spell, the spell's target Sims start gaining abilities much faster and are being promoted much faster in their careers. Level 8 - Heal Spell, The target is healed of any disease.
Level 10 - Fertility spell, the target of the spell is temporarily easier to conceive twins and triplets.
Level 12, Friendship Spell, the target of the spell becomes your Best Friend. Level 12 - Love spell, the spell's yes target becomes your boyfriend or girlfriend.
Level 14 - Nature spell, all dead plants within the lot are revived and the plants also grow and can be harvested.
Level 16 - Purification spell, the target target of the spell is healed and purified of any curse. Vampires are healed and become normal Sims. Zombies are healed and become normal Sims. The spell removes all curses and all the supernatural traits of the Sim.
Level 18 - Spell to summon a Sim, a ghost of a good witch is appears in the lot of the sim to clean, cook, take care of the garden, take care of children, repair broken objects and etc ...
Level 20 - Spell to ban the Grim Reaper, the Grim Reaper would resurrect the deceased Sim and flee the batch.

Neutral Witch Spells Level 2 - Ghost Cat, the Cat would be the same as The Sims 2 and its golden will match the witch's alignment. Players would need the Cats and Dogs expansion.
Level 4 - Summon a Sim, a random yes from your list of relationships is evoked.
Level 4 - Ban a Sim, the target is banned from your lot.
Level 6 - Summon food, a list of all food dishes in the game and expansions would appear on the screen. The player would choose the food he wants to evoke and the food magically appeared in the place Sim chose. The food evoked would always be of 'Excellent' quality and would never spoil.
    Level 8, Teleportation spell.
Level 10, Magic Cleansing, this spell would magically clean the entire lot of the Sim.
Level 12 - Magic Repair, the broken object chosen by the sim would be magically repaired.
Level 14 - Magical Enhancement, the Sim could enhance any object magically.
Level 16 - Body Magic, Spell to make the Fat Sim, Spell to make the Sim slim and Spell to make Muscle Sim.
Level 18 - Magical transformation, the target target of the spell is transformed into a sorcerer. Sims transformed by wizards will be good wizards, Sims transformed by neutral wizards will be neutral wizards and so on
Level 20 - Mental control, high spell sim can be controlled to clean, cook, repair objects and so on ...

Wicked witch spells. Level 2 - Sorcery of sorrow, the Sim, target of the spell would have a random negative emotion and all your needs are exhausted.
Level 4 - Maximum Mischief spell, all Sims on the lot would be left with negative emotions and the needs of all these Sims would be exhausted.
Level 6 - Spell of the Inimited, the enchanted Sim would become his enemy.
Level 6 - This spell would co
Level 8 - Spell of Discord, this would destroy marriages and dating. The player would cast the spell on the boyfriend / girlfriend or husband / wife and he / she would divorce his husband / wife or boyfriend / girlfriend
Level 10 - Curse a Sim, the bewitched Sim would turn into a frog. The only way to reverse this would be with a Purification Spell cast by the good witch or if another Sim kissed the frog.
Level 12 - Summon a servant to attack another Sim, the ghost of an evil witch is appears in the batch and attacks the chosen Sim.
Level 14 - Elemental Magic, Fire Magic. Ice Magic and Electricity Magic, would work the same way it did in The Sims 3. The Electricity Spell could electrocute the Sim and hit it to death.
The ice spell would freeze Sims and the fire spell could be used to incinerate objects and cause fires.
Level 16 - Thunder Spell, this would work with a possible expansion of Stations. For a Lightning, Thunder or Lightning would be evoked and would reach the lot, being able to cause fires and deaths.
Level 18 - Transformation spell. It would work as follows. The CAS would be opened and the Bewitched Sim could be edited by the player. After passing through the transformation the bewitched Sim would be sad and the evil Witch who made the spell would be laughing in an evil way.
Level 20 - Resuscitation spell, the player's chosen Yes would be resurrected as a Zombie and could only be healed by a good witch.

I forgot about the potions. The potions prepared in the cauldron would be. Emotional Potions Concentrated, Animated, Confident, Playful, Happy, Romantic, Furious. Youth Potion that would reverse the life stage of a Sim, that is, an old man would become an adult and an adult would become a young adult. Potion of Aging, by taking this potion, children would become teenagers and so on. We could also create potions to turn Sims into ghosts, vampires and so on ... Potions to change the Sims' personality or give it an opposing personality.

OMG the title of this necro'd thread almost gave me a heart attack. Thought I'd missed some big news. I really want witches too but sheesh.... have pity.
