I think we need stuff that we havent got yet instead of more what we have alrdy.
Buggies for toddlers
Prams for babies so we can actually do something with them instead of just pick them up to coo at or age asap cz their boring.
Spring toys for toddlers to sit on outside were they boing back and forth till their little heart is content.
changing tables (as millerolsen suggested)
Nice wallpaper for the room
Nicer carpets for a baby-child room
Being able to wash the baby in the bathroom sink or a small baby bath.
Having pacifier for clingy toddler
Having push car with walker stand to help toddlers learn how to walk and play by pushing it around the house or garden and bumping into parents ankles
I totally agree with this! It gets so boring using the same cot every time a baby enters my household. I think the whole baby life stage should have some improvement.
More cribs and such would be so nice, as well as changing tables and misc. decorations like baby bottles and diapers to put on counters in the nursery. A different mobile would be super cool too. I really wish our sims could do tummy time with the baby as well, and just over all interact with the baby outside of its cot. It would be so nice.
There's also the hospital crib but I forget now how to unlock it in Build/Buy Mode. It's not the most attractive one, but it is different. And while we're on the topic, I'd like to see a few more Toddler Bed choices, especially ones that are fun, like a princess bed for girls and maybe a racecar for boys.
I'm hoping that new bassinets will come with Parenting. It sounds like a good opportunity to put it in there since there isn't really a holiday for babies, and that's when we most often get new items for update items.
@millerolsen
The baby box is a real thing. Look it up.
It began in the late 1930's as a maternity package, in Finland.
The box contains clothes, nappies, towels, baby products, a matress, sheets and blanket. The box itself is for the baby to sleep in, and since it was introduced, it's been thought to have saved the lives of many babies.

I hope they add a baby box
My Mood:
What about a swimming pool that you put babies inside, then you press a button to make the walls go up and the baby goes to sleep... forever!
The baby swimming pool would be great for keeping your baby quiet... forever!
