Sim won't die can I 'delete' her?

She is an elder and she's lived for 158 days but her age bar thing looks like she just became an elder today. I've tried everything. When I use Simocide to kill her and she is about to have a hunger failure she pats her pockets and finds something to eat so her hunger bar gets maxed out?? wth.

Her great grandchildren are elders by now this is ridiculous. I would like her to actually die so she can still be in the family tree and all that but if there's any way to just like... delete her, I would be fine with that too at this point.

Help appriciated.

Was she originally a NPC ?
If she was, she may have a hidden trait that stops her from aging and dying.
The Weirdo, CityRepair and StatueBusker hidden traits prevent aging and dying
Try doing this. Play as the sim. Then type into the cheat bar
testingcheats true
Press enter
Then type in
traits.remove_trait isWeirdo
Press enter

See if that helps.
isWeirdo can be replaced in the removal cheat with isCityRepair or isStatueBusker if that is the hidden trait that they have.

If you wish to delete her, you can go to manage worlds, then click on the Household Management button on the top right hand side of the screen. Click on your sims household. Move the sim into a new household, then delete that new household.
