Doctor career - no babies to deliver & problems with surgery (collapsed SIMS)

M vampire SIM is a doctor - when he got to level 8 - it says he is supposed to deliver a baby and he even gets 'deliver a baby' in his chores list but no one ever comes in the hospital that needs to have a baby. Also - having problems with the collapsed SIMs - he will go to them to do surgery and gets credit for it but then never does the surgery and if another SIM later needs surgery - that option is grayed out because it still thinks the first SIM is on the surgery table I guess.

Other simmers are also having the issue with there not being a pregnant sim for the sim to deliver their baby .
It would be good to press " me too " on this thread on the AHQ EA site that refers to the issue

You will need to use cheats to promote your sim
Type in
testingcheats true
Press enter
Type in
careers.promote Doctor
Press enter.
Repairing the game may help with other issue. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.
Also resetting the sim, after the failed surgery interaction may help.

For players with MC Command Center 3.1.1 (current post-toddlers/vampires version, as of Jan 25), there's a new setting under Occult, Use Custom Pregnancy.
It's broken. Leave that OFF, till 3.2.0 comes out. It *also* leads to things like vanishing babies at birth, which is why I thought I should bring it up.
He had JUST put that in for aliens, when we got vampires. Broke it before the paint was even dry. LOL!
^^Biggest reason I never tried to mod. Know better. It'd turn me into a fruit loop, trying to stay on top of it.
