How to convert default CC eyes to non default?

My favorite CC eyes are glitched with toddlers (can't select toddler eye color when they're installed). I was just wondering if there's a simple way to make them non default/make them work for toddlers, because I really haven't found any eyes that are similar to them that I like, and the creator doesn't seem to want to update them for whatever reason.

I don't know what it is about them, I just adore them, and I'm kind of bummed they're broken since the update. Any help would be appreciated.
