match up my CC in the folder to what the item actually is. If the description isn't specific, I don't know which item it is referring to. I put in two items in my mods folder and I don't like the way those clothing items fit my sims. But I don't know which ones they are to remove them! haha

Don't know if there are cc managing mods out there or anything, but if you don't have too many cc files, the obvious way to do it would be to remove the 'suspicious' files one by one and go back into the game to see if the item is still there. Another way would be to google the file name (considering you haven't changed the original), and see if you're able to find the original post.
