Hi @Pary , Thanks, I'm pretty proud of Oliver and I'm glad his sons are so handsome. Are you using the random genetics mod? I often use it to randomize the genetics several times because I also typically have one parent that gets stuck. Usually Callum, I get too many copies of him.
My sim India is married to Sherman Bagley, and they've just had their first child.
I haven't used the random genetics mod before, so I couldn't resist having a sneaky peek at what Nathan will look like as a young adult.
While Nathan looks a lot like India, he does have some characteristics from his father too.
Though he has ended up with quite a chubby face
@wendyyi1 I can definitely see some of his dad in Nathan. I wonder if the chubby face comes from his mother? Although her face doesn't look chubby, features with the same slider positions can look quite different between the genders.
Sometimes genetics doesn't make a lot of sense. Case in point - my current household, the Kennedy family, Mick, Frances (nee Marcelino), Suzanne, and Corazon:
The kids don't look much like their dad, which might raise eyebrows except that they look even less like their mum.
@Nitroglycol Hair colour is not always inherited from parents and random mutations are common unless you use a mod that stops it. If you are not using a genetics mod, the kids will either be a clone of one of the parents or have inherited a mixture of the parents' features. Without a mod, whole features (eyes, nose, mouth, face shape, etc.) only can be inherited.

Hmm, OK. I was wondering if it was something left over from when those sims were created. That was some time last year so I don't recall how they started out, but I was thinking maybe the original sim that appeared when I entered CAS might have been blonde and that information stayed with them when I made the changes in CAS.
So, I started over my LTW challenge again and I'm currently on Generation three and the heir is gorgeous. Her name is Jasmine Lee and she wants to be an astronaut.

Her parents are the gen two heir, Marcus and his wife Ming(I'm sure you recognize from my most likely discontinued Decades Challenge) .
Jasmine basically inherited all the best features from her parents, like her mother's eye and general face shape and her dad nice skin tone. Here parents are pictured below.
Marcus. He was an animal rescuer for his LTW.
Ming in her more modern look for my current household.

Unless this is the first generation in which case I have no clue. Those parents might wanna watch it if their kids’ eyes start glowing.
