Hello. Whenever I put the speed on 3 and then bring it back to 1 my game jumps back in time a few hours. It's making my game unplayable. The only mod I have is mc command center. I'm not sure what to do. Is there a mod to fix this??
Hello
I am sorry that you are having this issue. There isn't a mod to fix it.
Sometimes it can help when coming back to speed 1 from speed 3, to press the pause button and wait a few seconds, then go back to speed one and see if that helps.
Sometimes having a large amount of items in the sims inventories and household inventory can cause issues. Try removing some of the items from the inventories and see if that helps.
Try also checking the inventories of other sims households in the game. Simmmers have been finding that the game has been placing items into their inventories when they are not playing the
households
Try lowering your graphics settings and see if that helps.

Thank you. My sim doesn't have anything in her inventory. And it's my only played household. I just started playing this family. This has been happening ever since city living. I will try to pause in between and see if that works.
Yep, I have the exact same problem on all three of my computers.
It's the worst when my Sim is at work or sleeping. The time will go into Ultra speed and her sleep meter goes up really quickly, then the time jumps hours backwards and her bar goes back down too.
It's so frustrating. I also find that gaining skills is harder too with the up and down of the skill meter because of the time.
By the way, I've uninstalled, re-installed, started new households, and they live in tiny homes with almost no items, and have nothing in their inventories. I also don't play with CC or mods. Also, when playing on speed 1, my game runs very smooth. No lag or anything and my settings are perfect.
I just hate watching my sims sleep the entire time on speed 1.

I am sorry that you are having these issues I hope that perhaps a fix in an upcoming patch will help with the issues that you are experiencing.
I also have the time jump bug. No mods or CC. Household and personal inventory are empty. I only started getting problems after City living. My sim lives in San Myshuno. Im getting to the point where I hate the new world due to the speed bug. Im going move my sim back to the base worlds until we have a fix. Its very frustrating and annoying as I like the city.

That's was a no go for me as well. I immediately moved out of the apartment back into a previous town and the problem still persists. I was hoping it was something related to the apartments but it didn't help.
The problem is still occurring for me. It's making my game unplayable. I even tried the new no lag mod and I still have lag. My game ran perfect before city Iiving.
Hello
If you are having lag in your general gameplay also, try checking to see if the game has reset your settings after the patch back to 32 bit mode instead of 64 bit mode.
Go to Game Library in Origin . Right click on The Sims 4 picture.
Click on “Game Properties”. Click on Advanced Launch options.
Then there are options to either change the “When launching this Game” setting to “The Sims 4 32-bit”
Or change the “When launching this Game” setting to “The Sims 4 64-bit”
Try changing it back to 64 bit mode if it has been reset to 32 bit mode.

I have the time jump bug myself, and I have no mods or CC. For me it occurred in connection with the ultra speed bug that has been reported in this thread on Answer HQ.

Hello
Did you have the time jump issue when your sims weren't living in the apartment? Did it start in your game when your sims moved to an apartment?

I've seen the time jump off and on since I started playing the game when Outdoor Retreat came out, but never as severe as when I had a Sim living in an apartment.

Thankyou for the feedback. Other simmers have also been finding an increase in it occurring since the release of City Living, and having sims living in apartments.
Me too with this, it's really annoying. I actually quit playing for a while waiting on a patch but now that toddlers are here and vampires are about to come out I want to play. They need to fix this.
I've had the time bug off and on before CL, since CL it has been happening living in an apartment. Haven't had it since the toddlers were added, but that family lives in a house. Will have to test a new game in the city.
