Recommended Laptop for Sims 3 & 4 gaming?

I've been playing the Sims on my Macbook pro Mid 2012 for around a year now. Performance was never really spot on, and a lot of the times, my Sims 3 game crashes. I've removed all of my Mods, though I still get quick bits of lag. Mods were never really the problem when I think about it, I do believe it was what my Laptop could handle. I gave myself a suggestion, which that was to look forward to using a windows laptop for Sims gaming. I've seen some Laptops from Acer and such, but I wanted to seek some straight up advice from those who have probably either switched themselves or have had experience with certain laptops when it comes to Sims gaming. I'm just thinking about purchasing something that can run well with a fair amount of Mods/CC and ranges $300-500.

You can't find a good enough laptop to run both with that budget and especially with mods.
