I couldn't watch the whole thing because the speed at which it was being done was making me dizzy, but what I saw was very nice. I don't have probably 90% of the plants or trees or decorations that person has, but everything looked really good. How are they able to overlap plants and trees like that? I can't do that either. The game just won't let me. Everything has to be put on the individual squares or I get the angry red that says, "NO! NO! NO! YOU CAN'T PUT THAT THERE!" which makes creating parks and back yards and stuff very limiting.

CTRL+Shift+C moveobjects on/off <-- enables you to place objects on top of each other
CTRL+Shift+C boolProp snapObjectsToGrid true/false <-- removes the restriction to individual squares
These are called "cheats", they are developer/designer tools left in the game and game players use them to get past game restrictions.
I forgot about the move objects one, but the things that use the boolProp make me nervous. Someone said it can affect your game if you forget to turn it back off and corrupt the game?

That never happened to my game and I've been playing for years... maybe early on it was an issue? Not sure. moveobjectson and boolprop both reset when you turn off the game.

I think she's confusing the boolprop snapobjectstogrid cheat with the boolprop testingcheatsenabled cheat. Doesn't help that most people refer to the latter cheat as boolprop, even though several non-problematic cheats use that word in it.
The latter can cause problems if you choose the wrong option if an error message pops up. So it's recommended to keep it off if you aren't actively using it if you aren't that knowledgeable about what the options on the error message do.
The snapobjectstogrid cheat is perfectly fine to leave on.
Yeah, leaving boolprop on isn't a problem, it's some of the options that come with it, if used haphazardly, can corrupt the game. But leaving the cheat on for extended periods won't hurt anything.
That looks really cool! I love seeing builds... even tho I start skipping ahead a little sometimes because I'm impatient and want to see the results lol.
