"Are you an actual alien?" the man asked incredulously.
"First of all, this spying and prying has to stop!"
"OK, I'll call for back-up", the man said.
"Look at you!" the woman countered. "They have brainwashed you! You have no idea what they are capable of!"
"I am not brainwashed. I am helping a dear friend", J replied.
"I can't seem to get any signal here", the man grumbled.
"You will be coming back with us for proper de-programming and interviewing", the woman said.
"I am not going anywhere. And neither are you", J said.
"What is that supposed to mean?" the woman asked.
"It means this", J said as he whipped out his freeze ray gun.
"Noooo!" the woman screamed.
Just another day at work. They'll have a nice view while they stand there.
"I feel sorry for you having to work with my sister", Meelah said to Zuha.
"It was alright. Except maybe when she freeze ray'd me."
Down by the transporter, Minah found Ent again.
"Sir, I have been thinking", she began.
"I want to stay here on Earth", Minah said.
Ent gasped.
"But you're our best scientist! All your research! All the work you've done here!" End exclaimed.
"Thank you, Sir", Minah said. "But I'm sure Zuha can report on everything we have found. And my sister is quite good also, even if she is a little haughty."
To her surprise, Ent began sobbing.
"I'm...I'm sorry, Sir", she said. "I didn't realise you would be so upset."
Captain Xee comforted her husband.
"It'll be fine", she said.
"Yes, I will still be around", Meelah announced.
"I will miss you", Minah said as she hugged Zuha.
"I will too, believe it or not", he replied giggling.
Even Meelah conceded to joining the hug party.
"Zuha, are you ready?" Captain Xee asked.
"Um..." Zuha suddenly said. "I think I've changed my mind."
"I think I want to stay too", he continued.
"Well now, look at what you've done", Meelah said to Minah. "Always stirring things up. I bet you're secretly in loooove."
"No, no", Zuha assured her. "Minah is in love with J."
"Sssh", Minah hushed him. "Not now."
"The J what?" Meelah asked.
Just then Ent burst into tears again.
"Come now, my darling", Captain Xee said. "I told you this Earth trip would be too emotional for you. Let's go back home."
"Goodbye then", Meelah said to Minah. "Good luck with everything! Including that J-thing."
"Are you alright?" Zuha whispered.
"Yes. Maybe. I think so", Minah replied.
"I had better get this thing started then", Captain Xee said.
"Let's go back to work", Minah said to Zuha.
Captain Xee finally got the transporter in working order again.
"Coming through, a party of four. Mission entity 155-XB remains on Earth for further research."
A few minutes later, a friendly neighbour arrived with some fruit cake.
"I thought I saw some new people move in...?"
In the background, the transporter made a final slurping noise before it disappeared.

Minah's house looks a little different.
And look, that's Minah and J...and who's the little boy?
It's Carl.
He's a cheerful little lad.
He loves his toy cat.
Minah finds it most interesting playing in the doll house with Carl.
And sometimes Zuha comes over too! He loves teaching Carl about human food.
He's still not the best of friends with J, but they tolerate each other.
Zuha also has a girlfriend, who isn't quite...er, house trained yet.
"Why does the small human not speak properly? Is there something wrong with it?"
"No, darling. They're just like that. He'll learn eventually."
Carl is an inquisitive toddler, who loves playing on his tablet.
But every so often he does get up to some mischief too!
