I wondered if The Sims 3 issues (at least the graphics issues) will be fixed. Ever since TS4 was released, EA never bothered fixing TS3's bugs and issues including the Intel Iris Graphics issue that MacBook Pro users are suffering from. It shouldn't be hard for EA to fix TS3's bugs as some just require modifications of the files and content. For example, people had made mods that fix the Opportunities, Sims using Berate Ignorance, and even the sprinklers not watering plants on soil rugs/potters, and @BluebellFlora had a workaround to allow TS3 to work on newer graphics through editing of GraphicsCards.sgr and GraphicsRules.sgr files.

The Sims 3 is a good Sims game but it suffers from bugs and broken features such as Skill Opportunities being broken with Into the Future's Advanced Technology Skill, Invisible Sims, and towns being impossible to play because of lag (Isla Paradiso is one example). Mac users even had it worse thanks to EA not updating The Sims 3 to support newer video cards such as Intel Iris or AMD Radeon M300 graphics rendering The Sims 3 unplayable on most post-2012 Macs such as the MacBook Pro.

Pretty sure they will be. I'm seriously hoping for the upgrade to be able to use 4GB instead of 2GB.
