Why does my Sim keep eating?

Hi everyone!
I was playing the sims 1 Complete Collection, and I've find it very annoying that my sim keep going to the fridge contently eating. I do take her out, but then all she'll does is go to the restaurant and eat there. I don't know if this is a glitch or what, I haven't glitch in any giving way, but something we do glitch in the sims and won't even notice. I would very appreciate any help necessary because I would definitely like to stay a family but would love to fix this very small annoying issue. Thank you all!<3.
