Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!! I got you @Tanu for my buddy!!! I was so excited to see your name popup!
Your letter gave me so many ideas I wasn't sure where to start...travel, ghost adventures, Lucky Palms, sims falling love, wow, so many ways to go. Well I tried to create a few of those things and a couple of surprises along way.
I would first like to introduce you to Bibi Ruelle. I created her while playing in France (more on
that later) and when I went into CAS I saw an option for fairy wings. Now, the odd thing is, I don't have Supernatural, but there she was, large beautiful wings lazily flapping so I decided to see what would happen if I put her the game. Here is what I found out.

Mama said her wings would fall off if she left the village in France where she was born. But Bibi didn't believe all the old tales and took off for Lucky Palms where she would pursue her dream of becoming a Ghost Hunter. How did it turn out? You'll have to see for yourself!
Bibi landed in Lucky Palms and sure as anything, her wings were gone. Drat.
When she found a house she liked she also discovered a stray dog living there. She named her Little Lady and decided to keep her.
The first thing she did the next morning was head to a casino, she is a very lucky girl, to try her luck and grab some quick cash.
Lucky day, she won a jackpot! Now it was off to the science center to learn a little science and logic. You need a little knowledge to be a Ghost Hunter.
The first day on the job didn't go well, all Bibi could do is stare at the sight in front of her.
The next day she started getting the hang of it and caught and released a couple of ghosts.
Her next job happened right next door to her house. After capturing all the spirits she found the owner and attempted to calm him down but fate had other plans...

Gift number two is of course Derrick R Crowell III
Don't be put off by his fancy name, Derrick is a little bit of a nerd, he loves to read, he's a little bit awkward in a social settings but his adventurous side usually saves the day. He also inherited a tendency to be a bit snobbish from his mother. His favorite thing to do in life is travel. Where is he off to next?
Even though he comes from a wealthy background Derrick moved to Lucky Palms to prove he could make it on his own. He bought a modest house close to the shore and spends his days mostly reading
Pondering things
trying desperately to make friends but always saying the wrong thing
and doing geeky things (Seriously! Who else goes all the way to France and plays chess first thing???)
His father passed on a love of traveling and whenever there is enough money he's off to his next destination. He loves to collect local artifacts and always has to pick up a book or two.
And now back to our story...
What a way to meet your new neighbor, Bibi thought, he was really freaked out, tousled hair, eyes darting around the yard, wringing his hands, but he was also kind of cute.
She introduced herself "Hi! I'm Bibi" she said cheerfully. " This is only my second job, I think I got all of them."
"I'm D-d-d-d-errick", he stuttered. "Ghosts just freak me out! I'm usually quite brave about things. If I knew this place was haunted I never would have bought it."
Derrick was still frantically looking around andbegged Bibi to come inside to make sure it was safe.
He then launched into a story about his terrifying experience with the spirits
Bibi was pretty sure that death wasn't there playing the guitar but could tell by the intensity of his story that he was really upset. So she asked him to come over to her house for a bite to eat and try to calm him down.
Bibi kept the mood light with small talk and Derrick was the perfect guest, he even washed his own dishes. She suggested watching some TV until Derrick was ready to go home.
The look on her face tell us something on the screen is bothering her

After the "ghostly" experience Bibi and Derrick's paths didn't cross much. Bibi was busy with her work and Derrick was doing odd jobs and traveling. They only saw each other coming and going long enough to wave hello and goodbye.
Derrick thought of Bibi often, she was so easy to talk to and he didn't feel as awkward with her as he did with other people. He decided to gather up all his courage and ask her out on a date.
He marched over to her house, boldly knocked on her door and then began to have doubts but he pushed on.
"Hey Bibi, how have you been? How's work? Would you go out on a date with me?" he stammered not giving her a chance to answer.
Bibi stepped back in surprise, "Um...I'm good, work's fine...ah...um, I don't really know you well enough to go on a date."
Poor Derrick just hung his head and slunk back home.
I have to find a way to be more confident around people Derrick thought to himself. Maybe if I practice what I want to say I won't be so nervous all the time. So Derrick spent hours in front of the mirror talking, talking and talking until he felt he could once again ask Bibi out.
When the time came his nerves got the better of him again but this time Bibi invited him out
"This is not a date," she said, "let's just go someplace and have fun. I know a new place that just opened up. "
So they jumped in the car and off they went.
Everything was going great
until Derrick asked her if they could make this a date. Bibi just looked at him and said, "I have to go, sorry. There are spirits on the loose again." And she was gone.
Once again poor Derrick hung his head, "What's wrong with me?"
Feeling totally rejected he headed up to the casino, got juiced and became the most obnoxious person ever! Whenever he won a hand he would wave his arms and yell "woohoo"
Suddenly his phone rang but he ignored it. When he got home he listened to the message on his phone "Hey Derrick, it's me Bibi, sorry for running out on you, call me okay?"
Will Derrick call her, will he run off to some foreign country or will something else happen.

One of the Towns you mentioned playing in was Lucky Palms. I don't know about you but I find some of the parks and art galleries to be sort of, well, boring. I have redone two of these lots for you. The first one is The Perfect Park. Located in the dry lake area at 115 Lakeside Dr., I really have no idea what made this a perfect park, let alone a park, so I bulldozed it and built
Desert Hot Spot
It's not a resort, casino, spa, pool or restaurant, it's kind of everything. I have it set as Visitors allowed. The juice bars can be replaced if you wish, and there is the Bistro oven so you can hire a chef also.

Sunshine Art Center
This lot replaces the Sunshine Art Gallery in the dry lake area at 111 Lakeside Dr.
I love to watch my sims paint and draw on the drafting table but most of the time there just isn't enough room in the house to have all these things. So I created the art center. Here your sims can paint on easels or the drafting table, sculpt, invent and use the glass blowing station.

Bon Voyage Guest house
When I read in your letter that you would like to go back and finish some of the World Adventure areas I was so happy to be able to complete a build I started but never completed. Awhile back (actually almost two years ago) there was a building comp to rebuild the base camp at Sim Alhara. After that concluded a few of us started rebuilding the other camps. I started on the base camp of Champs Les Sims but then real life intervened and I never got back to it. So I after digging through my mess of uncompleted builds, I found it, dusted it off and got to work finishing it.
I wanted it to be like a French country chateau with lots of common spaces for explorer sims to gather. So I made a huge kitchen with a big community dining room where sims can eat and chat.
Several sitting rooms can be found each having its own function like a tv room, reading room, a small bar area and a larger sitting area upstairs.
There are several sleeping choices ranging from private rooms with private baths or the dormitory with bunk beds and shared bath.
Down stairs there is a nectar maker, small workout room, sauna and bathroom
Outside you will find the kitchen garden, fruit trees, a fire pit, several easels scattered about, a few more sitting areas and the adventure board.
Everything was tested and in my game it filled up completely every night. All the sims seemed to enjoy the dining and the bunk beds were full all the time. I did notice that for some reason the plants and fruit trees did need tending but my sim took it upon herself and watered everything.

If you want to download this lot but don't know how to replace a lot in any of the World Adventure games here are the instructions.
Using the following cheats you can unlock any lot in any of the WA towns, including the tombs
How to edit the base camp:
1. In Edit Town mode, open the cheatbox (Ctrl+shift+C)
2. Type testingcheatsenabled true <enter>
3. Open the cheatbox again and type enablelotlocking true
4. Click the base camp and find the padlock. Click it to unlock it.
5. You can now edit/remove/replace the base camp.
Note: If you delete the current one, it'll change the lot type to No Visitors Allowed. But placing my lot in the same place will turn it back into a base camp again.
To relock the lot:
Click the base camp and find the padlock. Click it to lock it.
Type testingcheatsenabled false <enter>
