100 Clone babies in 100 days - The Orphanage

AlleenmensAlleenmens Posts: 18,722 Member
Because I don't like long dragging stories I came up with this... :o
My Rules:
1. Jennifer will clone 4 babies every 4th day. She will stay in a separate house because the game doesn't allowed cloning in more than 8 sims in the house. So I have to go to her house for the cloning process and then emerge the babies to the orphanage... Hopefully the orphanage wouldn't burn down in a few hours... ;) The clone parents will be 10 EA sims from 10 towns....
2. With a previous attempt I worked out the days before growing up and not to many birthdays on one day... Game crashes when that happens... So Babies and toddlers will be 2 days and children and teens will be 6 days... Young Adults will be moved out the day after their birthday. No birthday parties so children will grow up on their own...
3. Babies can't learn anything, toddlers will learn to walk, talk and potty but with the help with walker and playpen. Children and teens will have homeschooling... Children will learn art and logic and maybe cooking on toy stove. Teens will learn Art, science, music and athletic skills. Girls will learn cooking and boys will do some handy skills. Supernaturals will also learn their skills if possible.
4. There will be 2 helpers for the babies and toddlers and 1 cook... Children can ask any of the 3 for help...
5. Wish me luck! ;)

This is so well thought-out and organized. I'm so curious to see how it goes - I have to ask, though, what exactly is the goal here?

Oooh, interesting! How are you getting all the clone parents into the town you're using? Did you save them to the bin and then place copies down? And are they going to be staying in the town, or are you just placing them to be cloned and then getting rid of them afterwards? The town would get pretty crowded with 100 townies from other towns moving in AND being cloned as they arrive xD

    Well managed.

I first merged 10 of them in one house and then save them to the bin... I use an empty world and put them in 10 houses.... You have to keep them in the town otherwise their DNA disappear from your inventory... Then the cloner have to make friends with the parents before she can get DNA from them... And I also have to keep the cloner separate or move her out when it's time for the cloning... Although I have the mod for more than 8 sims in the house it doesn't allowed cloning... That's why I worked it out every 4 days then I change households for a few hours and hope for the best.... But so far so good... They usually somewhere in town when I go back... ;) I've got 20 kiddies now in the orphanage... 4 babies, 8 children and 8 teens... The eldest teens will be YA in 3 days.. The day they grow up there will be 24 kiddies... Then I will move them out in a house of their own...
It's a bit difficult to manage all of them... But now that there is teens in the house they also help with the babies... And then I have to make sure they are doing their homework and working on some skills... I don't know if you know the home schooling? They have to download their homework from a computer everyday... The children is a bit difficult to get an A but some of the teens are almost there... I've also changed the days of the birthdays. Babies 2, Toddlers 3, Children 6 and teens 9.... Then there is only one set of birthdays in the house and the morning of the teens to YA's birthday, there will be a new set of babies... So their will be always 24 plus the 3 helpers in the house until baby number 100... :) But my problem is I'm getting bored quickly so.... I hope I get there... ;)

Geez. That's a ton of work. Lots of props to you for having the patience to work your way through that whole process, haha, I couldn't do that :P And they totally look like their parents.

I just hope I don't get bored before that... ;)

Well how long does it take between batches of babies? I find that children are the most boring stage haha, even in my alphabetacy the kids just drive me nuts. At least with teenagers you can try to cultivate romances and stuff, but kids literally can't do anything except go to school, do their homework, and then derp around the house doing nothing productive until bedtime.

Every 4 days I'm cloning 4 babies.... This is how my spreadsheet look like up to YA... You can fill in the rest... So it's quite a busy schedule.... Get everybody clean and fed and doing homework and learning at least 1 skill before aging up... The Teens got also a prom night in before aging up... Because they're not related I let the boys ask the girls to go to the prom... ;)
