It's kinda against my religion to touch a dog. I mean, like not really but like ah, it's complicated. Like if the dog's fur is wet, then I can't touch it. And I can't be licked by them also, so it's best to just avoid them.
If you mean like Knotts Scary Farm, I have been, once. If you mean there are entire theme parks that are nothing but haunted houses, I didn't even know those existed. o.o
Never have I ever been to the country north of the one I live in.

NHIE been to a haunted house theme park.
Fascinating about the dog thing, but apparently it's an issue of scholarly debate even in different branches of Islam (which in no way means any one branch is right or the others wrong). Some even make a distinction between the dog and its saliva (honestly it makes sense if we're talking about things like rabies because even being licked can transmit that if the skin is broken), OR whether the dog is a wild or domesticated dog. I understand now why an Islamic student chastised me for petting someone's dog, I was kinda shocked, like why was it any of his business anyway? But understanding now that it is a religious issue and he was very new here, I get it now, why he was so horrified. Neither of us knew where the other was coming from, so to him, I was doing something crazy, and to me, his objection to me petting a dog was crazy too.
Most people in the US know that pork is off the kosher menu (like Halal but Jewish) and aren't shocked by that, but few who aren't Jewish themselves know that early Jews considered all dogs unclean animals, just like pigs.
Anyway... I just find things like this fascinating and cool to learn about.
And to the question at hand, I have been to Mexico, but it's not exactly a country on the equator though parts of it come close. So, no.

I have, and miss it. It was a saltwater system pool, so a lovely experience, and one was entirely glassed in, and the other was at a hotel where the indoor portion of the pool has a nearby waterfall hot tub (heaven!) and you go through clear plastic flaps like a carwash, to walk out into the outdoors, whilst still immersed in the heated pool. That was breathtaking, with steam coming off the water and snow everywhere around the pool, but you don't have to get out of the warm water into the cold air, until you're back through the flaps and in the heated indoor space.
Much like a hot spring, except in this case human-made. Those are some good memories!
NHIE been to a hot spring resort, though!
