Suggestion

I think in City Living there should be a way to have a residential/community combined lot. Like you could have a coffee shop on the bottom floor but the upstairs can still be apartments.

That would be cool. But they would have to re-code the lots so that they are both residential and community type.

    I would love this!

And I think it's possible, they could just make a new lot type that can be both residential and community. Anyone who wants that type of lot just have to switch to it.

If this was so easy to do, they would have done it from the start.

If they have coding for apartments figured out, then this could be possible (if not now, then in the future). It depends how the coding works.

I think something like this would be better fit inside of a patch, rather than restricted to a particular expansion. But this is something that I've always wanted. I'm constantly building things that contain 2+ different lot types, and then debating with myself on which 'type' I should actually select.
