    A question about resorts and showtime

    Does anyone know if it is possible to have a showtime stage/venue at a resort from IP? I tried looking to see if I could find the answer to no avail and I'm hoping to build a casino resort with live entertainment :)

      Maybe a stage if you went to build/buy mode once you've bought the resort. Never tried it, though, so I don't know.

      Yes, I've added showtime stages to other lots, and had it work. I've always set the lot type as "live show venue" though so I don't know if other lot types will work.

      I do not have Showtime, but I do run IP resorts, and I think to function as one, the lot type has to be set to "Resort" in order to access resort-specific placeables & necessities like the concierge desk, resort tower and buffet tables. Whether those remain as placed if you change lot type or not, I don't know. I also don't know whether an ST stage on a Resort lot makes it a venue, but it can't hurt to try it and see. Sometimes EP features play nice with each other, sometimes not.
