I'mma say it's ew if it's spicy, and okayish if it's not spicy. Not really my fav Malay dish.
I had to look that up but quickly saw that it's a custard tart, so YIBS YIBS! NUM! I love custard, particularly if it's velvety thick, and not overly sweet. And those look like just the thing!

I have never tried it, but if treacle is anything like blackstrap molasses, I'd enjoy a tiny slice of a nice black cake dense and moist, and just a hint bitter, with that! Is that what treacle cake tastes like, because if so, YUM!
