Advice on build

hello i have a little problem. as you can see here

you can still see some parts of the roof in de centers.
This is a pictures in front of the palace.

i dont want the roof to be higher then on the picture.

Can someone tell me how i can make it look nicer???

Do you want to keep the areas open on top of the building (where you have the four rectangles)? Is that what you're having trouble with? If so, I'm not sure that there is a way to hide where the edge roof sections overlap. I personally would use the full hipped roof tool and cover over each on of the rectangles and then use the curve and height sliders to get it to look right. But I'm not sure that's what you had in mind. In any event, it looks like a very grand building so far.

Maybe it's just me but I think your roof looks good as it is. It's kind of like a unique design that the builder added to the roof to make the home different from others. Do you have Get Together? If so, maybe add a few of those glass skylight things or some roof vents to distract the eye away from the roof pieces that you are not happy with.

Another option might be to build some chimneys in those areas. All grand manor homes have many fireplaces and chimneys.

No matter what you decide to do, the home looks very grand as is!

I like what you've done on the right side a lot.

The roofing on the right looks great, like a small echo of what you already have.
I think you could have one more piece in the middle but that would change the height a little.
I think it looks great either way though

Yes, that roof looks good! Too bad we didn't have round roofs or glass roofs...a glass dome would look awesome in the center section.
