Sinister legacy simmers...I summon you!

So I haven't tried any specific cheats or mods, mostly because, I hadn't thought much of it. But I wanted to do a Jack The Ripper legacy/challenge and I thought I had it all figured out, only to find out, that my 'guest simmies' (those not household) can still exit the lot even with doors locked! So now my sinister plans have been ruined! I really need a way to trap townies on my lot... They cannot be part of my active household, so that's out, entirely. Any ideas from those who needed to trap sims on lots?

Get rid of outside doors. Place doors when you want them to leave or come inside.
