OS upgrade on Origin

When I logged in this morning, a message box came up which said, "Looks like your operating system could use an upgrade." and I would no longer be able to access "the shop". There was a link which said "learn more" when I clicked on it I was told the page did not exist. My Windows 7 is uptodate, I do not want Windows 10. So please advise what I am missing here.

Try reinstalling Origin.

Are you still able to use Origin? Origin may have thought that your operating system was Vista.Suppport for that OS finishes in August. This link explains about that .

Try shutting down your computer completely. Then restart the computer, try logging in to Origin and see if the mesage appears again or not.

Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Also, see if you can purchase from the Origin website. https://www.origin.com/

It will most probably open your Origin on your desktop but see if it works. If it doesn't, go to Origin > Go Online.

The inability to be able to use the store tab affects computers that have Vista. You should be able to use the store tab because you have Wimdows 7. If you haven't done it already, try uninstalling and reinstalling origin and see if the issue remains.

You don't have to uninstall sims 4 if you uninstall origin. You only need to uninstall origin.

I have done as your suggest, uninstalled Origin and reinstalled and although the OS upgrade message didn't come up, the shop tag is still missing.
