I haven't bought a stuff pack since Sims 2. Even with Sims 3 I bought a fair amount of store content but never an actual stuff pack. However, I feel that an Elder-themed stuff pack would prompt me to break my streak, if it came with some new content that would go well with the life stage, because they are so neglected. The game treats them pretty much as adults with grey hair who can claim retirement pay if they want to and it would be so nice to give them something to distinguish them from adults and young adults.
I think that if they did an elders pack there should be an option to be a crazy cat lady or a guy who sits on his porch all day and yell at any people who gets near his lawn.( Okay that one is realistic put it be so funny to watch.)
@tulipssimmer I love these ideas. So many elder people spend days on their porch in the city, it could be interesting to implement it in the game. Or see them sitting in parks. It would make the neighborhood more alive.
I want to play ALL the premade families! One day...
They also should introduce young seniors & middle ages.
We only have newborn, toddlers, child(age 6 to 8),
teens(age 17 to 19), young adults(age 20 to 29), adults(age 35 to 40) & Elders(age 80 to 99).
There's too many age gaps.
Maybe focus on non western traditions of elders - let's focus on traditions in other cultures, because none of those elder things mention appeal to me and I am middle age
wocka wocka wockaWho gave that puppy asparagus?please do not send me private messages - they creep me out 🤢🤮😱
I love all these ideas but I want walking with the cane to be optional. I have my elders sort of go through stages. Most of my grannies are hip...LOL Anyway, I would love to see Bingo and gin rummy added to the game as well for the grannies. Casinos would be awesome too but now we are talking about more than a stuff pack I think.
I am pretty sure the arts and craft pack it if is chosen which is pretty likely will cover some stuff for the elders.
I really really loved the high tea and the finger sandwiches. A tea party would be an awesome new party to add.
Also I want them to knit while watching TV and have other hobbies like other crafts and birdwatching for example.
A couple of my relatives have early retired (60s) and moved to a better bird watching spot - last week in fact. I'm expecting weekly picture updates shortly of the latest owl or woodpecker! Others do crosswords or sudoku as well as knitting whilst watching TV. Lots of grannies and grandpas refuse to do any of these or even watch over the grandkids and go travelling to Las Vegas, Thailand, mediterranean resorts instead. Times change.
BTW: Men in their '80s and '90s in the UK and probably Europe spent time in the army until not enforced after the 1960s. It is a bit of an insult to show them so bent over in the game. Army training gave them ramrod straight backs, not like today's youth who are bent over their mobile phones.

I guess some non western stuff could be included, but the prime inspiration for the concept comes from the UK.
Perhaps it could contain 'exotic' things from other regions, collected while on holidays.

No. Teacake is a plain cake, usually topped with cinnamon and sugar. It doesn't contain tea, it is served with tea, for tea.
This was what popped into my head when I first glanced at the title!
"BRING OUT YER DEAD!"
"I'm not dead yet!"
"Can ye help us?"
