My nostalgia is as far as Screenshot wise will say using Pearl Yang when ST came out was very fun.

Here was the first time we met in game and we slow danced and I remember how awesome her default formal was they made her with the orange floral.

I remember marriage proposals from ghosts

And those cute moments when you say yes

I remember Yesenia Almira just looking gorgeous in anything you put her in.

And my cute house I bought for Pearl with my hard earned simmy dollars.

'Kyle's Life' gives me massive amounts of nostalgia. I remember once I faked sick to stay home to watch the whole thing.

I miss being so excited for a expansion pack that I would drag my husband out at midnight to pick up my copy.

I've been simming since TS1. TS3 is my favorite. I'm sad that this series is complete but the best part is I still have so much to explore. Every time I load up the game, I know I'm zoned in for at least the next 6+ hours... So I only play when I know I have that much free time.

@coco I watched "Kyles Life" and tears came to my eyes. It was a long video but I was pulled in from the beginning. So many memories that I had forgotten about. I know there were mods and/or CC but the wheelchair was such a tender touch to the video. The graveyard/ funeral scenes were so sad. Kyle moving in with his son and his family. So lifelike I can't believe I forgot this stuff!

It was very interesting seeing the video from beginning to the end of life. When Kyle died at the end, I was glad I had some kleenex handy because I so needed them thru this video! To see he made it to the other side to be with his wife just did me in! So many good touches to this video. I don't know who did this (forgot to look at the end) but it is very nostalgic, words cannot express what I felt watching it <3<3

@CravenLestat I love that video. It is on page 5 of my thread and that is my "go to" when I need to. I only hope my kids find that kind of love in their lifetime <3 The song is one of my all time favorites too!

To me, you are the best <3

It makes me so happy to see other people enjoy it too. It's a masterpiece. It's made by M1tchm but I can't seem to see if he made any more. If only TS2 website didn't get shut down...

@phoebesmom601 I almost cried watching that video you shared! Oh my! :'(
I'd never seem that movie before.

I consider myself a new simmer (I've been playing the game for less than two years, I think). I can't say I miss things. It's all very new to me yet.

When I think of the beginning of Sims 3 I think of discovering Alice & Kev, a story about homelessness. It's beautiful and funny and from the very beginning, no EPs or SPs or anything yet. But it's still worth reading.

My nostalgia is when I still played 2 and was super jealous of 3 because a I couldn't afford it and b my computer couldnt handle it. The open world fascinated me as did alot of things.

For mine, it has to be:

I remember when it first got released, the music and story really got to me and it reminds me now of what was happening in my life at that time.

I remember reading Alice and Kev too! I'd never seen Kyle's Life, though. Probably because I didn't hang out online in simming communities until TS3. I just watched that...and it made me cry! So touching, especially the theme of family and generations which that game did so well. :'(<3

ETA: I'm still actively playing TS3 so can't really think of any nostalgia other than the excitement we all used to feel every time a pack was announced. And how much fun content they included in every EP. My how times have changed.
