Sims unable to grab food in Granite Falls

So long story short:
I sent my sims on a vacation. They got there and did their thing during the day normally. Then they got hungry and tried to access the fridge, but couldn't get any food out of there for some reason. I checked the fridge and there was some food that was ready to be eaten so i thought i might as well just place it on a table for them, but no dice. Still couldn't take a plate. Ended up just sending them home because they were already way too uncomfortable to do anything else.

Anyone else experience this or is this just one of those "once in a lifetime" bugs that hopefully never appear again?

Also If it's any help:
When they tried to either access the fridge or the food on the table they sometimes, for a very brief moment i might add (too short to take a screenshot anyways), resetted to the default "no animation pose" with their arms stretched to the sides and being all stiff and whatnot, if anyone knows what i mean.

I am sorry that you had this issue. When your sims return to GF, if the issue remains, try selling the fridge and buying a new one and see if that helps the issue. Also if the food remains on the table, delete the food that your sim was having the issue with.
