    @luthienrising : MC Command Centre now includes a "put away Books" option for this problem, one of the two settings should work. For some reason I can't quote posts atm. (?? :o ).

    I still have this old mod in my game. Dr Chillgood Less/No Good/Bad Surroundings

    It hasn't been updated in ages, but it's still working for me, even with the new patch. I just wonder, when I get Dine Out, it's most likely going to mess with the restaurant rating for ambiance, isn't it? If there's no moodlet for "nicely decorated", I guess my restaurant won't get any points for ambiance?

    Is there a chance this mod could be updated?

    Oh, the Politics versions of the podiums weren't working, these point to Zerbu's Politics mod. I believe Politics has been updated now, so the podiums should be working again. I'll check this later. ^__^

    Does this apply to custom face details and mods that face "testing cheats enabled" always on?

    I haven't heard anything specific to custom face details, but you might check in the CC area of the forums. MCCC has a testingcheats-on feature, I believe? @egwarhammer am I right on that? And is it working?

    The updated MC Command Center mods are making my chef buggy. He just stands around talking to people and drinking, but no cooking.

    Do you have any other mods or only that one? It's not had any reports from other people on interfering with restaurant function. Did you pull your full Mods folder out?

    I've just downloaded the update for MC Command but this is the first time I've ever redownloaded a mod after an update. Will I have to reset all my settings in MC, for culling and everything? (I've just got Population.) Sorry for the noobish question but I'm nervous about suddenly losing all the Sims in my legacy file!

    MCCC preserves your settings as long as you don't delete the file called mc.settings.cfg

    My most important mods are not working anymore. I hate how these patches keep breaking the mods.
    The mods I am eagerly waiting for an update and feel they might not be updated :'(

    1- Gender Filters for Club (r3m)
    2- More Than 8 Club Members (Zerbu)
    3- Call Anytime + Relationship Mod (scumbumbo)

    I would not need the above mods if Maxis were more careful in making these features.

    - Seriously why we still do not have a gender filter for clubs? How can I make first wives clubs? or the golden girls clubs etc etc specially when I am playing males they keep receiving calls to join these clubs? With the latest patch they opened up the gender thing so it would have been nice if we had more option in clubs like specifying a gender and a sub gender look!!

    - The calls in this game are beyond ridiculous. They are completely gimmick. They don't have any length, they don't have any effect on the relationships and they have no significance. That is why I have to resort to mods to correct this WRONG. Why we don't have TS2 calls? Is that too difficult to make?

    The only thing that makes me really stick with this game is the great MC Command Mod and the great person who keeps updating it. The day this mod stops and its developer stops supporting it that day the sims 4 will die forever to me.
    Everything I post is an opinion here and I think every post of others is as well.

    This mod is broken. With this mod installed it affects what happens when a male gets abducted, it treats it like a normal pregnancy rather than a weird tummy ache scenario

    I didn't see this in the OP, I hope I'm not being redundant. :(

    It seems that someone else updated the Enhanced Physique Mod. I don't have the option to permalink, but it's at the very bottom of this page. The replies after seem to indicate that this version works, but I myself haven't tried it.

    I don't know if this is covered here or not (catching up), but aging went wild in my game.

    Two things I had to do to fix it, one, I removed ALL my MC "No Age" flags from any sim who had it. THAT fixed all of them but the 2 pregnant ones, one showed age 11/15 and one showed 16/20. To fix THOSE, I had to use MC to ENABLE pregnancy aging. As long as sims can age, the bar is normal.     Deaderpool's already said he needs to regenerate his No Aging trait, so whatever they changed broke that. MC and Show Sim Info both reported the same kind of funky numbers. I didn't let anything run long enough to see if birthdays would trigger, it had Dennis showing something like 69/70 days, and he's not gonna drop dead on me, so I backed up a little and went at it again.

    If people without mods are seeing that aging weirdness (especially on pregnant sims), too, I'd love to know!

    Luthienrising meant mc_settings.cfg

    Best thing I can recommend is, any time a big update (any update, I'm paranoid) comes down, save a COPY of your game file to your desktop before you play with untested/unproven mods. That way if anything does explode, you can start fresh from where your "real" game waits.

    My sims4 folders (not game, but my personal "save everything!" stash) are epically full of tons of (way-old) saves and logs and exceptions and all kinds of juicy stuff! It isn't super-organized, but, Search is a thing, so it works well enough.
