1.19.28 : Expanded Create A Sim

Hi everyone,

Today's patch 1.19.28 has introduced new gender options to the game. Attached is document describing the technical details of this change, and how community tools will need to be updated so that CAS CC will be compatible with this change.

Legacy CC should work identically as before, but will not be available on the opposite gender until it is updated. See the attached document for more details on legacy CC behavior.

I'm really confused. How do I make my existing custom content work for both genders? Is there a program I have to download?

You can either wait for the original authors to update the CC or you can get Sims4Studio which includes a converter.

It's ok, The SimGuru's post was aimed mainly at toolmakers and advanced CC creators.

@SimGuruModSquad - Question: I see how to restrict a CASP from being used by the opposite sex or opposite frame, but is there any way under the current setup to restrict a CASP to one sex using the opposite frame, such as only males with feminine frame or only females with male frame? Thanks!
