I want to know what's going on. I want more information on the upcoming GP+SP. I want to know where this game is heading and I want to know about toddlers.
Your company is providing a service here, and if you want to continue to receive my money for said service then somebody needs to start talking and start wowing me. This is getting old and I want to know its even worth my time any more!
I don't not know of any other game that I play where I do not know at least* what to expect in the near future that's not 15seconds long...
Thanks.

I don't mind waiting but I think it's only fair that I know what I am waiting for.
I'm paying real money for this game (well, not currently but I did buy the base and GTW, and depending on what they bring to the table this time around I would be willing to spend more) I don't think it's ok that people are hanging around screaming for information and not receiving even a whisper!

Unfortunately, over the past 16 years the devs have never given us a run down of every EP for each Sims game after launch and what would be the fun of that?
Pretty much my take on it is, they've never given us a run down on what's coming up through the whole series, or the direction they're going, or what might or might not be coming, why would they start now? In fact it's rather less likely now than it was before, imo, and the chances weren't high in knowing absolutely everything about every pack coming before this.
And all the yelling "But I want news NOW!" isn't going to change it.
I don't need to know every single item or pack they're going to do but I do expect a brief oversight of where and what I may be spending my money on.
They want us to buy stuff, right? Well it's going to take more than 15 seconds.

But that's just the way I see it. I'm sure someone will come along to tell me how perfect the game is and how wrong I am.
Do you ask this kind of special treatment for every cultural product you buy? Do you complain about waiting for movie trailers too? First single releases for upcoming albums? Commercials and episode descriptions for the next season of your favorite TV show (which, yes, you pay for by being an advertising eyeball and subscribing to cable or a streaming service)?
Nobody owes you info for a product you can't even buy yet a week or two earlier than that info is ready for public consumption.
Sometimes I feel like there's a serious desperation for new things to complain about around here. Go for a walk. Get a book out of the library. There's lots of things to do other than sit waiting for someone to market a product at you.
Well I wont be that person cause I for one know all bout what is wrong with the Sims 4,
It's not a case of a week or two. There are people who have been waiting for a year and a half for answers to questions. If you notice the OP didn't ask just about the upcoming packs.
Just ask the Gurus for an update and spend time with your friends while you're waiting.
That is how you see it and that is fine, But you seem to want to put down others for how they feel about things, this is not the first time I have seen you make comments to tell others on what they should or should not be doing , how you think they should act in the forums, Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, just keep that in mind, thank you.
That is what I mostly do , go outside with My beautiful Pups, or read a book, or play My other games, while I wait,
I went out and bought many of the Sims 3 packs that I did not own , so that as well has kept me going, while I wait for the Sims 4 to get it together and add more stuff, of course they have not added anything that I really want for My type of play style, except for the spooky pack which was limited, but I did get everything they dished out so far and can only hope the game gets better for My Type of game play, which is Gothic type, so here is to hoping anyway,
Agree 100%
If you say so, I for one think that People no matter where they are in the world, do matter, but that is just Me.
A lot of people have walked away from the series since the release of TS4, and a lot more still could. I bet the amount of new players they have gained doesn't even come close to how many they have lost.
I think EA needs to re-think their marketing strategy and their silent attitude that riles so many people up.
Yes, they do. The response I had posted and was revising wasn't worth it. I deleted it.
Yup I Agree 100%,
Ah I see, no biggie, carry on then,
Given The Sims has been following a track record of releasing an EP every 6 months with an SP every 3 months, both announced and revealed well before their release date, I don't see why it's such a mystery to see people impatient like this.
TS4 has no clear schedule of releases, content is revealed, arguably, way too late in advance, and it has a tendency to underwhelm, causing this whole chain to restart itself.
