Use for Platinum Orbs

I have a question. I have been playing SFP since almost the beginning. I have built everything (except all the monuments) and I have accumulated quite a few platinum orbs (sports, geek, animal, etc.) I don't use them to make my Sim immortal as I like that there are always new babies being born, more like real life. I know that I can sell the platinum orbs, but I have been keeping them just in case something new comes up that needs those orbs. Will there ever be new stuff that will need those sport orbs? Or Geek Orbs?
