We've all seen the Bachelor Challenge floating around but who has read the Selection by Kiera Cass? It is the bachelor on steroids with glittering crowns and tiara's thrown into the mix.
This challenge is inspired by it all! Enjoy! I had a ton of fun coming up with it!!!

**TIP**
This is a player lead challenge so eliminate contestants along the way for whatever reasons you choose. If you want a more solid way of eliminating contestants send the contestant with the lowest relationship with the prince/princess packing every few days or hold a painting, running, pruning etc. competition and eliminate the slowest contestant.
DAY 1 "It is official! Names have been drawn, the Contestants have come forward and the Selection has begun!"
Lite Version
Die-Hard
DAY 2 - THE 1ST REPORT "What are the Contestants after? Did they join the Selection Challenge for the Prince/Princess, or the crown?"
Lite Version
Die-Hard
.:Meeting the Girls:.
.:Getting to Know the Selected:.
**TIP**
The 1st Report can be held on your 2nd game play day of Friday if your Prince/Princess hasn't had a chance to meet all the Contestants yet or spent one on one time with at least one Contestant.
**TIP**
If a Contestant ignores the Prince/Princess or wanders off to do something else while the Prince/Princess is at their household perhaps the Contestant is a good one to eliminate?
THE 1ST REPORT "The Prince/Princess isn't too sure about a few of Contestant, perhaps they should spend some more time getting to know them."
Lite Version
**NOTE**
You can only have 15 guests at a time at a social event. Feel free to include the remaining girls, or any other girls who don't show up in the invitation window by directing them to eat with the Prince and interact with the other girls.
Die-Hard
**NOTE**
The Sims 4 is weird and ALL of the Contestant won't always show up in the invitation menu. So we'll embrace it! If a Contestant doesn't show up in the invitation menu the Prince/Princess obviously liked they a lot and the Constant is safe for now!
WEEK 2 "The 2nd Report is approaching quickly and the Prince/Princess hasn't spent One on One Time with every Contestant"
Lite Version
Die-Hard
THE 2ND REPORT "It is time for a ball! Who doesn't love a chance to get up close and personal?"
Lite Version
**NOTE**
If one of the Contestants doesn't show up in the invitation window feel free to direct them to join in the festivities!
Die-Hard
WEEK 3 "The Prince/Princess has spent a fair amount of time getting to know the Contestants, is it too early to have a favourite?"
Lite Version
Die-Hard
THE 3RD REPORT "A Costume Party? I'm excited!!!"
Lite Version
**NOTE**
If one of the Contestants doesn't show up in the invitation window feel free to direct them to join in the festivities!
Die-Hard
WEEK 4 & BEYOND "There are no rules anymore? I mean did we even need them in the first place?"
The Selection Challenge (Lite) Enters the 'Elite' phase of this challenge once 2-3 girls remain.
The Selection Challenge (Die-Hard)Enters the 'Elite' phase of this challenge once 6 girls remain.
**NOTE**
It is up to you how you chose your winner and eliminate girls until the Elite remain.
A PRINCESS IN THE MAKING
"The elite phase is not just about falling in the love. The princess must be able to host important dinners, successful celebrations and prove that they have the capacity for the role."
DAY TO DAY
**NOTE**
If you wish to make this more structured take the Contestants on prestige/directed dates and keep score of who has the highest scoring dates and who has the lowest and use this to help make decisions on who to eliminate.
**NOTE**
If you wish to make this more structured keep track of the Contestants progress on the following challenges, eliminate the Contestants with the lowest scored events and pick your winner based on the most successful events and highest scoring dates!
Suggested Events
.:We All Have Bad Day's Sometimes:.
.:Foreign Delegates:.
Depending on the number of Contestants left have them team up in groups of 2-3 or hold this event individually.
.:Sound Mind:.
.:People's Choice/High Tea:.
Continue day to day game play eliminating Contestants from the Elite until 2 remain.
NOTE: If playing the lite version have the Contestants compete against each other in at least ONE event.
Now that the Prince/Princess has chosen their final two it is time for the Prince/Princess to chose their future wife/husband!
**NOTE**
Like I said the Sims 4 is weird! If some of the eliminated Constestants don't show up in the invitation window we'll just assume that they turned down the invitation to the final party and were otherwise engaged. It happens right?
I just started a neighborhood rotation, and am almost done with the first legacy I'll ever finish. I think this will have to be the next one I try.
I'll be interested to see how you keep track of the girls' accomplishments once you get to phase 3.
Also, do their traits and/or aspirations matter at all? I haven't looked at your first post yet, but I'm very interested to see which traits and aspiration you picked for the prince.
I the dry run I was very strict. The girl who performed the best one (highest medal at the party and highest relationship with the prince and other girls.)
@eleniwriting - I am excited to see what you do with it!!
I modified the rules to be a little less crazy and confusing! Haha!
I'm so going to do this as soon as I'm finished with my Dr. Who Challenge!
Reading through it and your rules here made me realize it might be a perfect jumping off point for a story I had in mind. Would you mind terribly if I tweaked the rules a bit to do a Selection Challenge in the Sims 3? I don't have the time to do it right now, I'm afraid, but I'd love to explore the possibility in the future
