I figure it does not take much to realize that Simlympics is the Sims 4 version of the Olympics haha
Simlympics is more a game being played than an actual modeling competition. But athletes never disappoint in the fashion category and your will have plenty opportunity to showcase some flashy sporty outfits.
It promises to be fun and drama filled.
How will it work?
1. First of all you the editor will be known as the coach of your chosen country's team
2. You will need two sporty sims. One male and one female.
3. There will be no eliminations but 2 Simlympic champions at the end of the season
4. You will compete as follow:
a. 3 Track events (random selected)
b. 3 Field events (random selected)
c. 1 marathon event
d. 3 "Winter" Simlympic events (random selected)
e. 2 Pool events (random selected)
f. 2 Random events (random selected)
5. So it total we will have 14 challenges (excluding the mock entry form) where your male and female sim will compete in.
6. For every challenge you will enter your male and female version
7. It will go to a community vote (2 Separate votes - 1 for the males and 1 for the females)
8. This is the fun part:
a. The winning entry with the most votes will get a gold medal next to their name:
b. 2nd in voting will get the silver medal :
c. 3rd in the voting will get the bronze medal:
9. You can see on the medals-board how your team is doing in the Simlympics.
10. Each color medal has a value to it, but the value will only be revealed after the last challenge. Not knowing what the values are, will keep you guessing who the overall Simlympic champions will be (male and female)
11. Only the each challenge winner will receive a Simlympic siggie.
SOME RULES:
1. Challenges will span over a 4-5 day period.
2. A timer will be included in each challenge so that you can check how much time you have left.
3. No face plastering
4. Google clothing is acceptable
5. Respect, enjoy, learn, have fun
6. You will need to find your own background for every challenge, either google or ingame
7. Sims 4 obviously but I'm going to allow Sims 3 players to join. I want to see how it rolls
HOW TO ENTER?
You simply wait for the slots to open, choose your country and follow the brief on the entry form.
You will receive a ID pass to use as an entry form
Add the following:
1. Mock Entry
2. What event is your athlete's best chance of getting a gold medal?
For your (mock) entry form you have to showcase your 2 sims (male and female) in the parade carrying their country flag and wearing tracksuits, showcasing their country.

For this challenge your athlete can be in a starting position, swimming or just chilling in the pool. But it must at least resemble that your sim is in a race by using some additional props.
Brief:
1. Place your male and female athlete on your own background, showcasing them separately giving their all in this event !
2. Any type of picture will do Full or half or 3/4
3. Dress your athletes accordingly
4. You may add any accessories to them as you please
5. Have fun !

I completely understand and i don't expect this 2 take of in its 1st season due to everyone being in so many comps. Nevertheless I want to see how it plays out and will continue even of there are only a few entries lol :
This looks like a blast! I am completely burnt out on comps right now (as evidenced by the fact all my entries suck lately)...so I'm going to sit this one out. But I'll be lurking!!!
