Sims 4 Studio

Hello,

I found a tutorial on the pinned list of tutorials for making seamless wallpapers for in our sims homes. It stated that in order to make the wallpapers you would need to download Sims 4 Studio.

Before I downloaded this, I was wondering if it's Maxis/EA curated? And if not, is it safe or have you had any problems with it? I already own Photoshop, so that part isn't a problem, but I wanted to find out if the Sims 4 Studio is a reputable program.

PS. I hope this is in the right sub-forum, I wasn't exactly sure which one to post it in.

The Sims 4 studio site and program is a very trustworthy site and program. Many simmers use the program for their cc creating. It is a very safe program to use. The simmers who run the site and who have developed the program are very helpful, and if you have queries when using the program you can post on their forums and they will help you with your issues.

Okay, awesome! I figured it was most likely safe, but I just wanted to make sure first because I'm wanting to make some wallpapers for in game.

Yeah I use Studio too for some things, along with s4pe and TSR Workshop. They're all made by reputable people.

Hi @MeadowThayerr, I'm one of the people on the team that develops Sims 4 Studio. It is not Maxis curated but we keep in contact with EA's developers in their Mods & CC Technical Discussion forum here so that Studio is up to date with current game specifications and will create game safe custom content.

If you're interested in making seamless wallpaper there is an excellent video tutorial by Bakie posted HERE that is fun and easy to follow. If you have questions about that tutorial, or any other tutorial posted at Sims 4 Studio, please feel welcome to post your questions in the tutorial thread or to start a new thread in our Creator Help section. Studio forums is filled with friendly people who enjoy helping others get started creating things for Sims 4 so it's a great place for creators and beginning creators alike
