Having trouble with the gallery's search engine

Hi there!
The title explains most of it. I want to look up a simmer who has some fantastic builds on the gallery.
When I go to the gallery (not in game, btw, the website), I go to browse. Then I set the settings to EA ID and type in the username, but then I get the notification: "Sorry, nothing matched your search criteria"
It tried another username, but I got the same notification. Then I tried my own username and still got the same notification. I already made sure that I had EA ID selected.
If it's not a bug please let me know how I can solve it, it's driving me crazy that I can't look people up.

The maxis curated box is ticked by default now when searching the gallery. Try unchecking that box, and the creations should appear.
The box is where the " advanced" label is on the website version of the gallery.
